I saw Poison with Ratt last night. Poison was entertaining as usual but Ratt sucked. When did Stephen Pearcy get aids? Also, it was LOUD... because I was front row, bitches!!! I made eye contact with CC Deville, pointed at him and screamed" I ****ing love you!!" and he stopped playing, stood at attention and saluted me. I promptly came in my jeans. I also was one of the lucky few to catch a used Warren De Martini guitar pick. Oh, and I bleached my hair and used flourescent green hair gel as an ode to Poison. All in all, the gayest night imaginable minus that whole dirty cocksucking business but still a great time. Next concert... Pat Benatar. That's right, don't sound to jealous.

As mentioned above, it's called Liberation.As far as hip-hop albums this year go, my favorites in no particular order (Haven't heard Ear Drum yet, but Kweli is my 4th favorite MC of all-time, so I am looking forward to hearing it):Double Up - R. Kelly (no, i'm not kidding. R. Kelly is secretly a genius and makes people think he's retarded. This album is genius in the way it pokes fun at "that fake thug, r & b, rap scenario" as Dead Prez put it, but in such a subtle way that a lot of people miss it. Either that, or he has officially gone fucking crazy, and decided that it would be a good idea to write a song that consists of his half of phone call in which he breaks up with his girlfriend, and says things like, "Bitch I wish you wouuuuuuuld burn my motherfuckin' clooooohohooothes. With your triflin' ass." One way or another, this album is absolutely fascinating to me.Bayani - Blue Scholars (i'm not sure how well these guys are known outside of the pacific northwest, but I really dig their stuff.)Roadkillovercoat - Busdriver (****ing weird and awesome. I'm honestly not sure. The only other album of his I've heard was a collaboration with someone else (maybe Daedelus, I'm not sure because it was in a friend's car), and it was even weirder. I'm planning on checking out his other stuff eventually, though.
