My IQ is only 145, putting me as smart or smarter than 99.9% of the population.
I love you.(I didn't read the rest of your post... was anything in there important?)On an unrelated note, I made a ton of money today. I'd like to thank the following people:EWZSLVSBLKBAC

Lack of intelligent response indicates I'm dead on accurate. If there was a counter, you'd certainly make it. $100 billion can not make trillions in losses go away. Another dead cat bounce. Reality will return soon enough.

Nice of AssholeWay to finally man up and post a trade. Even nicer to see it blow up in his face already. Nice timing.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/29848741""The U.S. government plan to rid banks of toxic assets will rob American taxpayers by exposing them to too much risk and is unlikely to work as long as the economy remains weak, Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz said on Tuesday."The Geithner plan is very badly flawed," Stiglitz told Reuters in an interview during a Credit Suisse Asian Investment Conference in Hong Kong.U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner's plan to wipe up to US$1 trillion in bad debt off banks' balance sheets, unveiled on Monday, offered "perverse incentives", Stiglitz said. The U.S. government is basically using the taxpayer to guarantee against downside risk on the value of these assets, while giving the upside, or potential profits, to private investors, he said."Quite frankly, this amounts to robbery of the American people."But, the robbery is being done through FDIC, which doesn't require another vote in congress... so, this is the way the robbery must be done.1) It isn't going to work because people aren't going to be willing to toss in the first seed money unless the FDIC bonds pay high enough interest rate to give them back the money, in effect putting the government on the hook for EVERY PENNY of loss while giving all the upside potential to the already mega-rich.2) $1T isn't enough. There are far more bad assets on the books than that, and more coming every day.3) How does this return us to people being able to spend 110% of their invcomes forever, without ever having to pay on or for any of the debt?4) How does this alter the demographics that 46 (start of the Baby Boom) + 62 (when they can start pullling SS and other retirement) = 2008???5) How does this bring the manufacturing jobs back on-shore? How does this plug the gaping imbalance in global trade?6) How does this rid the consumers and business of the $15 trillion in excess debt?7) How does this get rid of the 5 million too many housing units (10 million if we kick out the illegals)?Smoke and mirrors, and it will be just as effective as all the other completely inneffective plans we've had to date.

Finally post a trade???? I've posted when I've moved from stocks to treasuries(July 2007), to stocks(Mar 2008), back to treasuries(May 2008), to money market (Jan 1, 2009) against my will because of chenge in 401(k). What are those if not trades?I bought at 77.55. Latest pre-market trade is 76.37. Off 1.5% +.5% transaction fees is "blowing up in my face"? You can't really be this dumb, can you? Yesterday was a nice short squeeze and dead cat bounce. Shorting last Thursday after the 20% run up is still, in my opinion, going to prove to be a winning trade. Time will tell, and unlike you that only posts your wins, I'm willing to post ALL my trades.

no. A lack of response indicates exactly what I told you. I didn't read your post after the first sentence. I still haven't. I'm sure it was great since you're so smart.(I don't read your posts anymore if they are more than like 5 or so sentences. We already know that you think you're the greatest and that your wife is definitely contemplating suicide. I don't need more proof.)

you know, the bad part about all this is that most people here would probably agree with most of what wrongway was saying if he wasn't such a massive, massive tool.
Why are you being so nice?

I'll dumb it down for you then. PPIP requires people willing to flush $100 billion down the drain to get the $100 billion government match, to get the $1.2 billion FDIC bonds that will cost the tax payer an additional $300++ billion in losses. It could shrink the difference between the toxic asset bid price and ask price by at most 7%. If the difference was only 7%, they could just hand the banks the $100 billion and make it all go away as they tried wit hthe first half of TARP.And still it could only deal with a tiny fraction of the bad debt. This is the 6th sentance, but is not officially part of the post.

When I first started posting to this thread, I wasn't NEARLY the ashole I am now. It was only after many months of being insulted, attacked, beat down, etc. that I became the raging ashole I am now.The people that post here have a vested interest in me being wrong, therefore, no matter how I say it, they will attack me. I may as well be an ashole about it and atleast get some pleasure out of f'n with them.

BAC closed today at 27.20. Amazing, considering it's in the financial sector. You'll thank me when it's back up in the 30's in a month or two and in the 80's in 5 years.
I remember you telling people to buy, but I'll be danged if I can remember you telling them to sell.

Today's doomsday is tomorrow's best case scenario.A couple years ago when AZ was still running a surplus I remember saying we'd have atleast a $2 billion deficit when the housing bubble collapse got rolling. On a $10 billion budget I was considered a NUT CASE. Latest projections put next year's deficit in the neighborhood of $3 billion. That is up from the $2.2 billion estimate of just a few months ago. Now I wouldn't be shocked to see a 40% budget dificit projection by the time summer rolls around.

IQ tests are a joke. I could take a few in succession and increase mine to at least 145 if I felt my time were that worthless. well, it basically is, but playing starcraft is wayyy more fun than proving a point about a bogus test.

from what I've seen, you talk about stocks in about 1 in 4 posts. the other 3 are devoted to talking shit on yoda, talking doomsday, and whathaveyou. I think the hate has a lot to do with the fact that you are the biggest derailing troll in the history of time. maybe. no offense.

Compare 2276 to 2277.I make an assessment about the PPIP, which had just been announced that day. I'm looking to start a converastion. The next poster won't go to the effort of reading the post, but is willing to go to the effort of making a post about how he didn't read the post. And I'm the troll?I thought that not bothering to read a post, then writing a post to insult them while pointing out that you did not read their post, was pretty much the dictionary definiiton of internet troll. As for this being one of the few thread I post in, truth be told, I got bored with poker a couple years ago. It wasn't challenging enough to hold my interest very long.

did I do that? I don't think that was me. I'm just pointing out that a lot of people post strictly stock comments here and a lot of stuff you post is the anti-that. not that I care. I'm contributing to it because I don't read this thread much anyway.so I bought BAC at 7.9 thinking more geithner magic might be around the corner and didn't remember to sell it, then sold at 7.3 just an hour or two ago. I am bad at this fake portfolio stuff.

My post was correct then and BAC closed above 38 in October. I still believe that BAC will be around 80 in 5 years, and you should be buying it now. This is why you're a massive tool btw... you quote posts that fit in whatever youre saying but 'forget' to post all the others. Like the ones where I mention that I think the market is going to crash hard in October and BAC will be going WAY down. Also, don't forget to post all the times I said I was moving out of stocks and into Silver and Gold... because that won't help 'prove' your point. Also, you're going to need to go even shorter on your posts. Maximum 2 sentences... as long as they aren't run-on, or I simply can't make it through.

Did you buy it at 3? If not, you shouldn't have sold.

I'm exiting a lot of my positions. I have GNW at like $1.80. I like them.I had intel, heard last night that nvidia filed a counter-suit, and then no effect seems to have come from it today after I sold.I agree about BAC, but frankly this portfolio only runs two months, and I'm not confident they'll be too far from $7.50 at the end of it.

If those posts exist (and I'm not saying they do not exist), then YOU should reference them. I would not expect you to look up posts I've made that prove I've made correct calls.

I didn't play to make money. I have a job for that. I never intended to get good enough to be able to play for money, and frankly I don't have the patience to play that disciplined for that long. I'm not good at the people skills of being able to lie, being able to read people, etc. I know I'm just too honest, too moral, too concerned about truth to play poker for real money.I played for entertainment, to learn the math, to interact with people, etc.I got pretty good for free/very low stakes games. Then it got boring.Ooops, sorry too long. I'll try again.
