loudest and biggest party homecrowd in the nhl??

Great game on OLN last night. End of Carolina game was incredible. Best power team in NHL, the Red Wings ended on a power play then pulled their goaltender. It was like someone had a machinegun and was mowing down this cluster of red and white in front of the goal. At one point there was an open net and a player did a baseball slide and took a slapshot in the back to help out the goaltender, awesome hockey. With Carolina holding on to win.The announcer made a comment that Carolina was the loudest arena he had heard when they were surprise finalists. As an Avs fan Bourque getting the Cup had an electric atmosphere. But day to day the Pepsi Center is a litte too corporate and maybe the fans a little spoiled. I see a lot more enthusiasm in Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver from the TV perspective. What say you? Where is the biggest party with the loudest crowd in the NHL?

GM Place upper bowl = lowd and fun.GM Place lower bowl = pathetic. A third of the damn arena leaves before the third period. People were leaving before overtime started against the Senators, and more people were leaving before the shootout. COME ON!!!Montrael always seems loud, especially during the playoffs.GM Place and the Saddledome always rock during the playoffs. Nothings beats old school Chicago, like Monkey said.

Just from reading the heading of this post I would have said Carolina. Those people were out of their minds during their playoff run a couple of years back (made the Final).

chi stadium was built like a surround sound entertainment center. The old stadium organs rocked all stadiums should have an organ player. I got kicked out of a leaf playoff game for blowing a fog horn at Maple leaf gardens. What a bunch of wimps banning fog horns.

Games in Toronto have a pretty sad atmosphere, cuz most of the people in the arena aren't actually hockey fans, they are just there with corporate tickets. The Leaf fans that travel to Montreal, Ottawa, Buffalo, etc are the real fans, and they are totally rabib.
