DrawingDeadInDM 0
Goodbye, Nickelback.I didn't realize it was possible for one band to crank out so many mediocre radio friendly alterna-trash anthems in one career.Discuss.
NortonFan 0
It's not hard to say it at all. The only song that I mildly liked was the very first song they came out with. That semi-new song where he sings about his "favorite damn disease" made me want to stab myself in the ear with an icepick. He should be shot if he tries to make another cd. Then he would have to understand where we're coming from.Ontop of that, have you seen that guy? I've taken shits that have a better chance of getting laid.

checkymcfold 0
oh, man. this thread just reminded me of the five years of nights in iowa bars. so thanks for that.but fuck nickelback. like, for real.
mbreon 0
Nickelback took over as the worst band around when Creed decided to call it quits, though Linkin Park put up a good fight. Can't say that I'm sad to see them go.
timbo83 0
in australia, theres a popular ice cream called the "paddle pop" which has a lion as its mascot which reminds me of chad kroeger
HoosierAlum 0
I hate Nickelback. But I've seen the MTV Cribs and they profiled Chad Kroeger's house and it is SICK.
insano 0
Yea, it wasn't that great. The rappers are the ones who know how to decorate.I agree though about Nickelback. But what kind of music can you really expect from a Canadian? Discuss...
mk 11
Are they really done?Because the world would be a much better place without them.[in hyper-masculine, modern rock voice] "I like your pants around your waist..."comedy

ShakeZuma 586
One of my favorite jokes:Anybody hearing all this stuff nowadays people are saying that music makes people violent? Well I can kinda agree with that. Music has made me want to kill people bef0re.Like, when I listen to Nickleback, it makes me want to .... kill NicklebackIt comes off a lot better when the actual comedian says it, but funny nonetheless
oceansize 0
I'm just sad that since Staind's first album every band that's made the top charts since ripped off that melodic ballad part and left the gut wrenching anguish part out. "Religion became like noodle bar, we take parts of Buddism, Confucionism, and old legend and leave rest for someone else." Egg-Shen, Big Trouble in Little China

milestodavid 0
Hopefully this will be the demise of all radio rock. Let's get some good music back on the radio.
ShakeZuma 586
you know what, I hate this thread now. Cause now Ive got that horrible facking song stuck in my head... I like the pants around your feet... blah blah blah
nopunk 0
The new Staind CD is easily as bad if not worse than the new Nickelback CD. I want to disembowel myself every time I hear the current Staind single. "I already told you that falling is easy, it's getting back up that becomes the problem." Horrible, horrible music. Also, the local rock station here plays literally 25 Shinedown songs a day. It's getting to the point that I can't even listen to the station because the cycle is like Shinedown, Nickelback, Shinedown, something classic, Staind, Shinedown, Trapt, Shinedown, Staind (repeat all day). oceansize 0
I agree with no punk. Even about the new Staind. I didn't even like there second album, whatever it was called. That first one was a thing of beauty though. Even the first Limp Bizkit album was decent. All these bands and they all end up going down the easy path of least resistance teeny-bop-tearyness....It's sad really.

Depending on how good a band it is, maybe even a few more. Every band runs out of stuff to say, though. No one has that much to say. Even if they do, no one wants to hear it. I may be forgetting a band, but I don't think any band has better music later than when they first started.
RuffRidr 0
No more Nickelback? Good riddance. Man I hate that radio friendly drudge they put out. That photograph song is absolutely the worst.I think the only song of theirs that I can even tolerate is "Leader of Men". That shit wasn't too bad.--RuffRidr
