akishore 0
i have a problem-set due at 12:00pm friday morning. i got home at 11pm thursday night, and it is almost 6am now, and what have i been doing for the past 7 hours?mostly posting on this damn forum.so again, i'm going to blame it on the forum and ignore my own procrastination skills.actually, what's funny is that it seems like there are only two or three other people posting at this time right now (smash, for one). what sad lives we lead when an internet forum keeps us up so late at night.*sigh*aseem
Smasharoo 0
What's really sad is I'm not motivated enough to play Holdem so I'm crushing the .05/.10 limit O8 game on stars.

I have to motivate myself to play limit hold'em so I can make my money (damned jobs), but I'll always play O, O8b, Stud, or really anything else by choice.Your norm can become such a grind. Don't get me wrong, once I start playing it, I like it fine, but thinking about putting in my X hours can sometimes be irritating to contemplate.
Smasharoo 0
I think it's more that O8 is so much easier to beat that I don't have to think much playing it and there's so much less variance.

I think O8 will get boring for me sooner than later because the correct play is, well, so clear typically. It should be a great moneymaker as long as fish are available. But I'm new enough to O8 that it's still fun for me.
