Binbs 0
Simple question really. How many buyins do you usually make in NL in one session or day.Id like to know what you usually make a day playing NL in average. The most Ive ever made is like 10-12 buyins at 0.5/1. Course it gets harder as you move up in limits.
insano 0
I average about 4. But then again I'm awesome. Your probobly not.
bobonic 0
sorry to sound stupid.....but what do you mean (get busted and buy more chips?)
Binbs 0
I'm sorry I meant how many buyins you profit playing NL per day/session.Assumming of course that one buyin is 100 x BB.
JBradburn6 0
-9 Brazillion. If that's my average, can I still blame variance?
No_Neck 0
yesterday playing 700 hands I made 1.2 buy ins. But obviously that goes up and down, you should be more interested in BB/100 much more accurate.
Binbs 0
Whats the BB in a NL game? 2/4 BB is 4 then correct?
No_Neck 0
Whats the BB in a NL game? 2/4 BB is 4 then correct?a BB is twice the bb (big blind)
offset 0
Whats the BB in a NL game? 2/4 BB is 4 then correct?Nl games do not have a BB because "BB" means big bet. To say "big blind" you use bb. Seriously, it makes it a lot easier to understand.
iggymcfly 0
There was a point where I thought I could average 1 buy-in an hour playing as high as 3/6 and 5/10. Now, I've gotten to the point where I can't even beat a 1/2 game. It seems like every time I make top pair or an overpair someone raises me with a better hand until I finally give up and call off my stack. Then, when I finally hit a set, someone draws out on me and I lose anyway. Variance is fun when you're hitting all your draws and stacking your opponents, but the downside of it always hits you harder than you think it will.
theredpill99 0
Nothing wrong with just calling a raise when you have top pair in my opinion. True you should be raising as much as possible but raising all-in with top pair isn't good. BTW, I've been playing NL ring games for about 1 1/2 years and I don't think I've ever made 10 buyins at any limit/level ever so you might want to check your stats again. Either that, or you are ready to play Gus Hansen.

Binbs 0
Im sure there are lots of ppl who have made 10 times buyin in a days playing. I was looking for averages tho.
mosheh 0
you can make 10buy in in a deep cash game very agressive but it's very (very very...) unusual3 buy in is all ready a big win and looking to win in average per year half a buy in per session ( 7/8h live) seem good to me it already mean that you beat the game
Demiparadigm 0
Win Rate is based on money per time (or # hands)Not per session. To think of profit as how much you make in a sitting is naive. Even the best players have both winning and losing sessions. You want averages? The average poker player loses money. That is where winnning players' "profit" comes from.If you are winning, congratulations... but don't worry about how much you won today or if you can do better tomorrow.Poker is a long run game; not a "what is the most you win per session" discussion.Good Luck. iggymcfly 0
Watching you guys talk about NL is like watching quadrapalegics fuck.Oh shut up. I know how to play NL just fine. If I really wanted to summarize my problems concisely I could have just said " I've had a bad run of cards lately and when I go on tilt, I turn into a calling station sometimes."I have to say that sentence is very offensive. Using the term "you guys" to lump me in with redpill is extremely insulting.
