Arin H 0
Tonight was probably the best poker I've ever played since I first started playing about 3 years ago. Me and a few of my friends who I play poker with on a regular basis played a quick 5 handed NLHE tourney. Everyone started out with 10,000 in chips and we moved the blinds up every 20 minutes. I steadily increased my stack throughout the night making a few good plays and getting a few lucky breaks when the following hand came up. Blinds were at 200-400 and everyone folded to the player in the small blind who limped in and I checked with K 5 . The flop came 4 6 10 . My opponent checked and I checked. The turn came a 9 and my opponent checked again so I decided to try and steal it by betting 600. The player in the small blind quickly moved all in for about 13,500. I had about 15,000 in chips and honestly never felt so strong on a read. I thought for about 5 minutes and the player just looked so uncomfortable and was trying so hard to be unnoticeable almost to the point where he stopped breathing. I've played with this player many times before and I know that he thinks I'm constanstly trying to steal pots when we are in the blinds so I finally decided to call and I was spot on with my read. I had He turned over Jack high and I won the pot. Probably one of the best hands of poker I've ever played. I went on to win the tourney and couldn't of had a better start to the new year
dEv~ 19
1400 in the pot and he shoved in 13,500. Talk about a Mike Matusow blow up.
Sluggo 0
Wouldn't you be embarrased if he was bluffing with ace high?
