Here's a little more "food for thought"...Daniel is a celebrity. Perhaps that could have an influence on people wanting to sit at a table with him? Have you considered that possibility? Despite what your "crew" might think, noone gives a damn about DreamClown or knows who he is.

No kidding. The General Forum has been a mess lately. Hardly worth even opening most of the threads. I genuinely like Daniel as a player and as a person, but I don't worship him as some sort of poker idol. I'm just here to have fun.I don't mind the competition, but these constant posts challenging DN by the GCC are just getting annoying. It's like a 12 yr old boy that challenges all of his friends to the latest video game he thinks he's mastered. If the Dreamclown is really better than DN, all we should have to do is watch for the outcome of these matches for the proof. He needs to stop telling us how good he is and just show us. I don't care how much he tries to say otherwise, I watched last night and Dreamclown didn't play well. Perhaps he was just having an off night. I'm looking forward to seeing them play again.

I'm just thinking if I had $400,000 to play poker with, I'm pretty sure I would have no problem checking my ego at the door by finding a brazillion easier ways to make some serious cash other then playing probably one of the most swing intensive games with one of the best poker players in the world, seriously?

I think he's just posting to try to tilt DN or something...and to have fun with it. He obviously doesn't really think that one hand where he bluffed with a naked AK on a four flush board is indicative of who is the better player. Annoying? Yes. Douchebagish? Yes....I forget where I was going with this.Whatever, we'll see. Obviously DN and DC both think they have an edge. Pretty soon everyone will know who is right.

You know, I thought it was cool to watch two good players duke it out, thinking on higher levels than I can... until this post ruined it for me. Can you post the hand where you caught the runner runner flush with 3 5 ? Or how about the hand where you caught your set of fives on the turn and then the board paired the river? Or will you leave those out since you understand the phrase, 'that's poker'? Seriously, out of all the things you could say, or trash talk, you gotta pull a runner runner beat out? I see enough of that level of thinking at .5/1.
