It's funny how he was afraid to play Daniel when Daniel was short stacked, but when DN is funded, he is willing to lose a quarter million dollars. Is this guy some kind of retard poker savant or what? And oh yeah he is clearly over matched. Anyone who says this is because its Daniel, on his forum, and we must be nuthugging, I'll say that results don't lie. This guy is going to end up like Nick the Greek playing 2-4 limit trying to rebuild after scratching his head and saying, "why the f did I play Daniel N headsup for my entire bankroll?"

and to further this, didn't the clown say he didn't want to play DN for his shortstack because he was just going to go all in with rags. Maybe I'm wrong as I'm no limit specialist, but wasn't clown raising Preflop with hands like 2/8 os and other rags. Wouldn't this just be gambling away money but it's okay when DN has a big roll...

I'd like to hear his opinion of this session in his blog.  Would be interesting to hear what he has to say about it.  Daniel...... GIVE US THE GOODS!

I think that Daniel's style of folding preflop does help and gives him a slight edge. However, because DC knows DN will not stay in with complete rags. Therefore when DN raises pf and the flop is all rags, DN likely did not hit that flop hard. With DC raising every hand pf, it is tough to put him on any hand until the flop, and in most cases the turn. I have limited experience HU limit, and play against much worse players than these 2, but I do think folding occasionally preflop is an advantage when playing HU limit.

DC must be an exceptional player after the flop because he NEVER folds pre flop. Even out of position, it doesn't matter.

To me DC looked very predictable.. He raised every flop, seen every flop, never 3 bets, and loves to payoff when you hit a monster. If he hits a pair, hes pushing... I thought he Played very badly. On the flip side, I think DN played very smart. He folded Preflop and minimized his losses in marginal pots. His ability to shift gears and adapt was the difference in the results..

Seems as though DC was playing extremely agressive, never folding and constantly trying to make plays on pots. Because of this he would over commit himself to the pot and end up calling with weakish hands. DN would hit it or quit it, or maybe check raise the flop to try to take it down. No reason to over extend because the loose agressive bastard will pay you off when you make a hand, if not bet it for you.DC also never 3 bet out of pos pre-flop, and I dont remember seeing him ever fold pre-flop. Thats gotta get expensive(both in paying bets and losing bets)One hand I remember is when DC raised on the button, DN 3 bet with QJ, and DC just called with pocket aces, dn flopped top two and took a huge pot down. DC doesnt seem to like to take the lead back when someone tries to take it from him so that he can hide the strength of his hand, not a bad Idea, seems a bit dangerous though.

Here is a post by Neverwin, Dandruff(sucka) pretty mcuh agreed. "Anyone like myself who understands all the fundamentals of limit holdem heads up can see that DN is the better player in the long run. For the same reason I know I am the favorite over Dreamclown in the long run also. But Dreamclown is only 22 with a lot of talent, but look what happens when he messes with the big boys. Even if he comes back, he still has many things to learn. Anyone can win a lot of money in the short run, only time will tell whether it was luck or skill."I agreee if DC keeps playin Daniel he will lose his "s00k challenge match". Negeanu pwned him tonite. Dreamclown way too passive and never folding preflop. We know Daniel has tons of experience in HU Limit Hold'Em through his challenge matches bs Mimi Tran, David Oppenheim, and Joe Cassidy. Enough hours playing them and online gives him a big edge over a youn hotshot like Dreamclown who'll realize hes in over his head soon. 30 Degrees Below Freezing - movie of the year in 07 niz

Yeah, I don't see how DC can be profitable by flat calling every time he is in the BB. When you're out of position, you need to take the lead with strong hands, in order to minimize the strength of your opponents position. I don't see this as being profitable in the long run, and I think this is the small edge in pots that Daniel has over Dreamclown.

I looked at one point and the table was 93% saw the flop. Since DC NEVER folded pre-flop I'd guess that DN saw 93% of the flops - just wonder what exactly your pre-flop criteria is to get to 90%. DN was surely playing a lot of garbage too. Just not quite as much garbage as DC.DC was horribly predictable pre-flop. He bet 100% of the time in the SB. He'd call every time DN raised from the SB. He'd raise everytime DN completed the SB. He'd never 3-bet pre-flop. DN limp/raised quite a bit. DC lead almost every flop OOP and bet every time he was checked to in position. Again it seemes obvious but if you didn't watch it bears repeating. The difference was that DN managed to lose less on pots that he lost and to a lesser extent win more on pots he won. DN really seemed to manage pot size effectively.

I can't wait till the next match and am extremely confident DN is outmatched. I just wish I could take a bigger cut of the game :(also, "This guy is going to end up like Nick the Greek playing 2-4 limit trying to rebuild after scratching his head and saying, "why the f did I play Daniel N headsup for my entire bankroll?" "can who ever posted that plaease give me the link to more info about this or explain what happened? Was this "the Greek" from prima who lives in Mass?he was always so careful and tight in the nl games he played and I met him in the PL holdem Ireland tourney.-Eugene

Look...i will elaborate.....Either DreamClown is re-writing the book of good HU limit play and he is on to something...(We shall see in the long run I guess).....OR He is technically flawed.Of what has been described, He just throws away bets to set up a string where he will change gears.....and if a card rush coincides with the change of gears...it is LIGHTS OUT!!!.....if the cards don't come...it looks very transparent....His style....for lack of a better word....is WIERD.
