DRskateNT 0
I may be one of the few charter members who doesn't post every 2 seconds or even every 2 days. I read the site everyday and obviously have noticed how this forum has become impossible to navigate. If you do decide to post and you aren't in the "cool" kids club and don't read every post and happen to duplicate a link or topic you will get flamed worst than a whopper. We reall need to see some people growing up, especially charter members.. there is no excuse for some of you to be so just plain angry and mean for no other reason than you feel you are some sort of better person because youa: post more than othersb: read every post and constantly know the topics that have been discussedc: touched DN onced: had DN reply to one of your postse: looked into a star and wished that DN was looking at that same star at the same time... and he was.Perhaps also...Actually creating a Charter area of the forum only accessible via username and pw.Mods need to start closing dup threads with links to original posts. The Layout of the Forum may need to change to allow more topics per page or a clearer way to see the many posts. Often the whole first page is brand new posts... how can you avoid a dup post if you search and still can't find the thread.Just some thoughts...

It will be all the same people doing the same things. :(Agreed on the locking with thread urls tho. Some mods do it, some do not *shrug*.Ray
Jeff 0
I totally agree with the OP. What a shock some loser had to do exactly what he talked about. Perhaps an age limit section would help seperate the maturity levels...

What is the need to lock and delete threads if no one responds? All I am asking for in a simple answer. Why is Daniel afraid of Dreamclown? Why won't he play him? Why does the Forum feel the need to resoirt to Censorship to cover up this issue?

I call you out because your post is sloppy and includes the phrase "worst than a whopper."I call you out because your rhetoric is weak.I call you out, mainly though, because I am bored. Why does the Forum feel the need to resoirt to Censorship to cover up this issue?First, it's not a public forum, censorship is perfectly within the rights of the maintainers of this site.Second, it's not censorship, it's house cleaning.Third, read the other 65 threads about DreamClown where Daniel has responded to these question.Four, GFY, err..is that something the OP was talking about? I meant, have a good day.

DRskateNT 0
Well I did like some reasonable disagreements like Ray... My whole point was that I really enjoy this Forum and I would really love to see it remain a quality place to talk poker and other things. But I had concern that it was spiralling into NWP and I wanted to voice that and see what people thought and hopefully develop some ideas that are usable.I wasn't trying to get DreamClown dickriders to join my cause. Nor was I mocking anyone who regularly posts on this forum. My issue is with people whoFlame for the sake of flamingBash DN for no reason or without valid causeDefend DN blindlyGang up on Newbs because you canWe should be nicer to new posters, especially those who actually make good points or at least type like normal human beings. Daniel is a classy guy who is very inclusive with his fans and detractors, why should we his fans be different?
The Czar 0
I agree with the original poster. I'm not sure if that makes me a nerdherd member or a Dreamclown dickk rider, but I'm sure someone will clear it up for me. I do find this site informative, but a whole lot of people spend too much time trying to come up with witty flames instead of intelligent contributions. That's all part of it, I guess. The majority of multiposters do contribute and I suppose that's all you can ask for.
