Sushiman 0
Does anyone find it hard to go back to live play at a casino after a lot of time on the internet? I used to love B&M play, but I guess the novelty wore off and my last trips were just tedious, win or lose. All I think about is how many more hands I could be getting in multitabling online. The combined factors of people not paying attention, slow dealers, and grumpy old people makes me want to punch everybody in the face. I think I've been so spoiled that seeing 30 hands per hour feels like slow death to me, even though the players at live low limit are a dream compared to online players.Does anyone have suggestions? I'm considering switching over to NL for live casino play.

aucu 3
Same thing happened to me and with more of the live games going to NL I made the switch and now can only play limit games if they are at higher stakes than I played before.
Dixie Wrecked 0
I guess I'm the opposite. I get extremely bored playing online no matter how much I multitable. I prefer the physical aspects of a casino over the clicking of a mouse while in my underwear.

pokerplayer24 0
If you're a grinder the low limit games in casinos are def a bore compared to playing online. Online you multitable for an hr and have played 300 hands and countless interesting ones. Live its all just about waiting for hands and taking advantage as its 7-8 to the flop. Scott31 0
I think I've been so spoiled that seeing 30 hands per hour feels like slow death to me.No kidding. All I can think about is how I'd be getting about 200 more hands an hour multitabling online. And I could do it while in my comfortable chair with a beer in hand that doesn't cost 4 bucks. I enjoy casinos a little more...the people, the lights, the atmosphere, but it's -EV compared to staying home when I think about all of the expenses like gas, tipping, drinks, etc.
flash420 0
i think that it really depends on what limit your playing at and whether or not you really care about playing the players at your table. By the way, in my mind older gentlemen are fish. They only play the nutz and they really aren't that creative. So the fact that you know who you're playing can generate a lot of income in a live game.
DaBruins 0
nope im not tired of it all cause i hardly ever play. There are soooo many bad NL players at the B&Ms because they figure they've seen no limit on TV over the last few years now and like the game. I go where i can make the most money and that would be at the NL tables in my bankroll (usually 2-5)
BigDMcGee 3,353
live can be fun, and can be insanely tedious.. I try my best to make it fun for myself.. I chit chat, I act REAL goofy, I listen to music ( but I always have at least one ear uncovered, so I can hear what's going on..) I find the loosest , crasiest player, and buddy buddy with them.. But then there are the old white bastard guys, who bitch and bitch..and then there are the cliche's, the same old jokes told 100 times before...and then there are the humorless kids wearing sunglasses, and taking 20 minutes to fold...It's a love hate thing live, but over all, I perfer it... When I come home, I have a tougher ime getting psyched to play online again. When I put someone on tilt, I LOVE to look at them in person.
