I downloaded Poker Room a few months ago and never deposited. So, I decided to see if I could catch DN or Dreamclown last night and reinstalled. When I opened my account I found a nice crisp $20 staring back at me. Figured I would tinker around and play the $20 as big as I could. Moved from .50/.50NL to 1/1NL to 2 tabling 1/1 NL to 2/2 NL. In about 2.5 hours my $20 was $304.25. So my real question, or comment here is - Has anybody else found the players at these levels on poker room to be as horrific as I did? I log about 25-40 hours a week @ UB and play the bigger MTTs . I'm not much of an online cash player but I know the competition at UB to be stronger tenfold. Any feedback ?

The tourneys I play on FCP are very soft. Low Limits though.I played a $50 Sng and the play was a little better.

Yes, there is definitely some horribly bad play there.I played a $20 tourney last night and just folded my way to the money, i literally played 5 hands I think, just made sure to double up when I did. Mostly card dead, but I was amazed at some of the donkey plays I was watching.

I played a lot of 1-1 2-2 NL on PR a few months back, definitely donkalicious, I ended up stopping because of incredible swings, I think the last day I played I got sucked out on by miserable hands 6 or 7 times in a row, putting a large dent in the bankroll. I am starting to play again since FCP started and am having some success at the same levels again ... other than losing $225 with KK to AA last night :roll:

I had the biggest grin on my face like I never wanted it to end. At one point in the 1/1 game early on I had lost all but $20 of the $70 I had gotten it up to after being pushed off a draw. The following hand came up (I've forgotten the specifics of $$)I decide it was a fun run and to donate the last $20.Me on the buttonAs-5sEP raises to 3MP raises to 8I call 8EP calls raise.Flop Ax-10x-2s EP checks, MP bets 5, I raise all in for about $14 more (lol..weee!!)EP reraises the min. Does anyone know if you have to have money in your account at FCP in order to watch the real money games?I tried to watch DN play the other day, but only the play money games came up...was wondering if it was because you had to have real money in your account. This was weird though, because last week when DN & the Clown faced off I was able to watch that with no problems.thanks

Yes, you have to deposit real money... you can only see real money tables for three days after opening your account and then afterwards you have to deposit.

Yes, you need money in your FCP account to see Real Money tables. When you first sign up you can see all the tables, then after a week or so (I think), you are only able to see Play money tables until you deposit.Some say that you can download Pokerroom's software or a different skin and see the tables without a real money account. I'm not sure if that works or not though...
