I'm about to drink wine and eat french fries. Gourmet.edit: Yep...I liked my own post.

Happy Fourth of July to those that celebrate. I have a couple of Angus steaks marinating in K.C.Masterpiece Steakhouse blend as I type. That will go with a shrimp cocktail, twice baked potato and corn

Outstanding, if I'm ever playing bar trivia and someone asks how many sand wedges can fit in a 40' container, their gross weight, and HTC, you'll be the forst one I call.

They either looked at the slope/rating at the course you played and adjusted it to the course you're on to get the handicap for that course, and they've probably had enough sandbaggers before who come in and give high handicaps so they make room for adjustment, until you play enough rounds there to get a certified handicap, so that you don't just clean up and make it unfun for everyone else.
The funny thing is, the course our league plays on is "easier" than the course that gave me the 22 handicap. The guy gave me a 16 based on the 2 scores I posted while I played with the league as a replacement for players who couldn't make it that week. When he told me, "Based on your two rounds, I put you down for a 16," I told him that I thought that may be a bit high and a little unfair but he didn't really care. When I told one of the guys who had seen me play that I was an 11 (nine holes) but they gave me a 16 he was all surprised and said I shouldn't even be an 11. Yeah, he takes this league sort of seriously. But my partner, a lady, drinks beer and is cool so I'm happy. I birdied the first hole I played as her official partner in the league and everyone cried "Sandbagger." My subsequent triple bogey on the following hole, and overall score of 50 for the round shut them up.

A hole that you shoot the golf ball into could be called an input.
Dear Alan,I regret to inform you that you've been dispactched to 2nd Place on "The List of Most Retarded Things Jeffrey Has Read This Year." While still an honor.......

Interesting point. I'd love to discuss it further if I had any clue what you were talking about.

Doable. Also the $1500 NL @ the WSOP starts Thursday I believe. Anyone try the Sats last year? What are the buy-ins? Fill me in.
They had 3 levels of sats, $100, $200 and $300 if I remember right. They pay out in $500 tourney chips that you can use for any event.

The actual content of the post wasn't supposed to be all that informing or un-retarded.The beauty of that post was much more in it's ability to continue upon an theme. Please try to keep up.

I own nothing by them, so am I in essence threatening your job security?
Possibly.. However usually someone has at least something in their household by Spalding, Etonic, Callaway, Huffy Sports, Fruit of the Loom or Russell Corp..

Goldie...I believe a sat for the 1500 NL event would be 150 each, winner gets the buy in...150+ whatever the juice is 15 or 20...

I guess I found something to do on the Wednesday when I get there.

Looks like Binion's is trying to get back some of the crowd from the WSOP, or at least some of the overflow.Lunch was paid for by a couple of people I work with, so that was good.I want to go golfing and get a handicap. Although the 3 times I play is probably not enough to actually get a handicap, or justify the membership fee so I can get one.
