I'm about to drink wine and eat french fries. Gourmet.edit: Yep...I liked my own post.

Happy Fourth of July to those that celebrate. I have a couple of Angus steaks marinating in K.C.Masterpiece Steakhouse blend as I type. That will go with a shrimp cocktail, twice baked potato and corn

The tramps were actually good friends of mine through high school--and since, actually. I kinda played it up to look cool, but, it actually kind of ended up sucking. One of 'em, who I've known since I was in 8th grade, found out her one and a half year old daughter has a tumor on her spine, ontop of being autistic. Kinda rough..she's like my little sister. /ramble
so sorry dude
Rog, remind me later and I'll get on tribe and send you an invite. We use it for things we don't want widely published. Oh and polls on where to go to dinner in Vegas. :club:

Mornin' y'all.I'm doing something new and interesting with work. I'm now going to be in the office from 9-6 M-F, learning how to run an office. Basically, it's an apprenticeship to becoming a managing broker. I'm still trying to finish that interminable Broker Prelicense Course, and hopefully I'll be a licensed broker sometime around March or April. The real reason I'm doing this is that of our 3 offices in North Carolina, our number 1 and 2 guys up there just quit. Mom and Dad are going to be spending 2-3 weeks out of the month up there now to keep everything on an even keel, and they really need the managerial support here while they're gone.I'm also being made a co-listing agent on my dad's 5 or so listings (plus the 3 I have right now), because he'll need someone around if he's away. I'll only be on a 50/50 commission split for them (as opposed to the 70/30 an independent contractor agent gets with our company) but it's still a really sweet deal. All these listings come to us from the builders my dad is working with, and those builders are a LOT better than the one I'm working with. And I'll get to be on the front side of the deal with the new home too. My dad's builders pay better incentives on bigger homes, like a 4%, or 3%+2k, on a sales price between 200k-600k. And I still get to keep my builder, who's more in the 120k-250k range, at 3%+1k, for 50/50.As cool as all that is, learning how to do the managerial stuff is ultimately more important. I'll be the de facto listing coordinator and closing coordinator for our office. Once I'm licensed and have enough experience with this, I'll be able to run an office. We still have plans to expand, and each new office will require a managing broker. So I might go to a new office, set it up and get it running for 6 months, train a successor for 3 months, and move on to the next new office, for a steadily increasing salary + 10% of the bottom line of my office. And I'll be around posting a lot more!

Well that's messed up.They offered to do some sort of instant check thing, I think like how I used to be a preferred player by Partypoker. If it was a direct deposit from my checking account to their bank, that would be illegal, wouldn't it?Neteller was such a convenient intermediary.

So this is interesting...I'm in talking to my boss...i invite him to my next home game...He's out of the country, we get to talking, i tell him how much I'd really like a poker table now that my chips are on the way.Apparently there's a store in town that owes us money. He tells me to go visit it one day at lunch, they sell poker tables. Write down the model number I'm interested in and he'll see about getting me a deal.yay for me...

Herbies?
Named after Herb Brooks, it's either a nickname for or a variation of the sprint where you go from goal line to blue line and back, goal line to center line and back, goal line to far blue line and back, and so on

We called those meatgrinders in basketball. They REALLY suck. You know you're in trouble when the coach yells BASELINE!Substitute free throw line and half-court for blue and red lines.

No I haven't gotten Tribe priveliges as of yet. I think I need to either blow somebody or attend an in person meeting.
Seriously? I swear I thought I invited you to tribe. There's really not much there anymore. We used to use it for pics and stuff we didn't want on the forum but we've gotten to the point where we really don't care who sees what pics on the forum so we just post it here now.I was going to reinvite you but Yahoo mail won't let me in so I can't get to my contact list for your email addy. I remember the first part, I just don't remember the @???? part.
