dolfan 0
Have you ever noticed how everyone thinks all meteorologists are idiots? What a fun job that would be. Nobody expects you to be right and nobody is surprised when you're not.
mulhs82 2
How do you people even graduate from high school? I'm just serious.we had so much more to remember, think of all the wars and history that's happened since you were in HS. Half of the element chart probably hadn't been discovered yet. Did you even have algebra?you left yourself open for that. Now that right there is funny.

I promise to drink only Coke products in Vegas. :-)Let me understand this: You're going to Vegas, meeting up with a bunch of sex-crazed, partner-swapping, internet axe murderers and drunkards (all meant in the nicest possible way!), and you are promising to drink only Coke? Have you lost your mind?I think she meant as mixers! hahaThe Coca-Cola Company provides the finest Mixers and Alcohol flavor enhancers in the world!
jeff_536 3
did you miss the other day when I asked about Lenny Dykstra? Please try to keep up, Mr. Kruk.I know, I know...you're a product of the American education system. Reeding is haard.I saw it. Chuckled, moved on. What does that have to do with my affinity for the name Dutch and thinking a Dutch Dalton reference would of been funnier than Dave Hollins, comedically speaking?Nice try though. Move along old man, the reaper is gaining on you.Doug, I think you're a little off base on the whole strat thing. JSI'm sure you wouldn't appreciate any two players discussing hands while they were up against you.I think Twitchy Eisenreich would have been funnier than either. If laughing at a guy with Tourette's is wrong, I don't want to be right. Jadaki 0
It's not against the rules to discuss strategy at the table. It happens all the time.In the casino I play at it is considered a rules violation to discuss strategy during an active hand, even if you are not in the hand at the time. Between hands it is fine, just not during.
GWCGWC 83
So I guess I should say that the phone girl gave her two weeks notice today. That means there will be an opening for me to potentially move in to. I don't have any details, I don't know if they'll just straight out offer it to me, I don't know if I even want it.I'm thinking that I am going to have to get a significant raise and assured that some of the work that she has will be taken away from me. Otherwise I don't know if I would even consider it.Well at least I've got something to think about.if you move into her job you should only be doing what she did, everything or most of everything you did before should become someone else's job.Yeah, my mind is racing like crazy right now. Seeing how things operate around here, I have this fear that I am going to have her job unilaterally moved to me because they won't hire someone withing the two weeks. It wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened. I have my demands sorta worked out, but even if they meet them I still might not take it. I already have one foot out the door.If you want her position, ask for it. Managers can't read your mind and people usually don't get thing they don't ask for.
