I know other people who run outside that have this problem, too. I usually run in the gym, so I'm no expert. I'm pretty sure you've mentioned using elipticals before. That would probably help, but unfortunately it doesn't help with the running outside factor.

I really hope the boys come through for me on Mothers Day and do something nice. I'm not counting on it as they are generally thoughtless, self-centered buggers, but I still hope. I'm guessing, that due to lack of any outside help, it's going to suck.

At least the last girl there was a problem with actually liked him. Damn. Yeah, discussing it calmly is pretty tough for me. I'm going to have to, though, because I need him to tell me exactly what's going on so I don't go in to the meeting at school without all the details.

I really feel for you in this one. From the sounds of it the only thing that he did wrong was to look at her. If she can't handle people looking at her I say go and live in a box. I hope that you get this sorted out with Raist and that it doesn't ruin your relationship with him. I was a bit of an outsider in highschool myself and my mom just kind of left me alone. I wasn't rebelious or anything but I pushed the envelope. As long as he's not hurting himself or anyone else I say just be cool. Hope that helps. Thinking of you.

Sadly enough, when you asked me about that band I felt really disappointed in myself for not coming through, whereas not being able to answer the question about something that pains you physically didn't bother me as much. So apparently in my personal rankings of Things I Would Like to Help My Friends With, music comes in ahead of avoiding injury. Yes, I am indeed an ass. Don't go into that meeting all apologetic and willing to take all the blame.They better have more proof than "raist looked at me" to support an harassment charge. Find out from Raist if the object of his attention sent him notes back. She may just be crying wolf now.There's always time down the road to make sure Raist is punished/takes responsibility. At this initial meeting, don't help him be convicted without, in essence, a fair trial.
