dms26 3 Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 got a new pool table for our loft..it's an American Heritage 8ft table..with Mahagony wood...We got it on craigslist for $1200 bucks....that included the wall rack (which we googled and those run about $300 and a kit with 2 sets of balls, rack and sticks those run about $350)We refelted it from green to black - the felt is something called tour cloth...i don't know anything about pool but apparently this makes the balls roll better...Nice Link to post Share on other sites

custom36 4 Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 This afternoon, calls for substitute jobs started coming in (middle school...esl...special ed...cog disabled...etc). And all of the things I've been kinda thinking about came together in a, "I really, really don't want to do this" kind of way. Teaching is like taking the easy way out for me and I don't want that (I'm not quitting...just crossing it off as a career option). It's time to move on....again.So, I'm looking into grad schools again and studying to take the GRE. Had the discussion with my mom and she agrees 100%. Hopefully this is the significant step it feels like right now. Or progress at least. Time to blaze myself a new trail, wherever that goes.Hopefully I do a better job of keeping my friends here informed this time. And try not to piss off the others here again. Haha. I remember Pong. When I was a kid, my friend Mona had an Atari and I loved to play pinball on it. My friend Heather had a Commodore 64.
