This time, the probation officer he was assigned (because apparently juveniles are guilty until proven innocent around here) has recommended that the judge not go forward and essentially dismiss the charges like they never happened. The prosecutor still intends to ask for a trial as far as we know. The lawyer thinks the probation officers assertion that our boy isn't really a troublemaker in addition to the flimsy evidence gives us a decent chance of ending this tomorrow, but of course, nothing is certain. The lawyer has also asked me to prepare a list of things he has been doing to show that he's been busy and productive, which he has. Between ROTC camp and farming, he's hardly been home. I just hope he doesn't need a haircut when he arrives tomorrow morning. I've brought and extra set of clothes in case he shows up from his dad's house in highwater pants or something. He doesn't dress up much there. I really should be sleeping because we have to be there by 9, but I'm pretty keyed up. Ugh.Everybody pray or send me vibes tomorrow morning. We need all the help we can get.good vibesReport from Nikki. Judge said fu to the prosecution: )guess u dont need them...We ordered our new appliances today...We'll get them 8/9...i can't wait...We're getting a fridge, dishwasher, over-the-range microwave, and stove.... I'm pretty sure that 's a pretty good bargain for 2 court appearances among other things. I think we'd be going to trial if we had a public defender. bleacherbum3 9 Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Evening all.Got out of work a little early tonight.Minor celebrity sighting at the casino - I come up to deal my last hour on blackjack. Tap onto the game, and I look over to third base and UT coach Pat Summitt is sitting there. She was there with a few other coaches I didn't really recognize, but were fun to deal to for an hour. Not sure why they were in Chicagoland though.Of course, since I wanted to be nice I ended up kind of whacking them.Edit: Found out the others were the Illinois women's head coach and an assistant and the UCLA women's head coach and assistant.
