delphi12 0
I just read this in the WHO IS ELIGIBLE? section:You are not eligible to win the Daniel Negreanu Protégé grand prize if you are a recognized professional poker player or have ever appeared on television participating at a final table in a poker tournament, including but not limited to the WSOP, WPT, PPT and/or any other televised tournament or event. Management will determine in its sole and absolute discretion prior to the GPFTT if an individual is not eligible to win the grand prize based upon prior poker fame.I just found out on saturday that this little ESPN tournament that I came in 4th in and was recorded was sold to Fox Sports and will be broadcast on Mar 6th - then again, that is AFTER the announcement, right? And no, I am not posting this to brag - in fact, you will see me make some TERRIBLE moves whilst going from chipleader to the bottom and back up to the top again finally going out with KK because I was a donk and only minimally raised and let T8 in to crush me with two pair.I did, however, consult Dan Druff (yes, we actually are friends - grew up together) on proper char cover twirling - only problem was that there were no covers - i would have had to throw the whole chair on the table and that could be construed as donk on donk violence. kers2 0
If you didnt post this to brag then why did you post itAnd why bold the part about appearing on a televised tournamentAnd why explain the tournamentAnd why say you have known DanDruff since you were kidsAnd why make a poor attempt at humorAnd why even post anything at all

pokerplayer24 0
I'm assuming if you're under 21 you're not eligible as well which would make 90% of the posters on this forum not eligible.
delphi12 0
If you didnt post this to brag then why did you post itAnd why bold the part about appearing on a televised tournamentI fully admit that I was a donk at the table and am not proud to be shown as such - I bolded it to show what I am going to be referring to.And why explain the tournamentNot sure what you mean here, but I was trying to say I would like to be DN's protege, but it looks like I cannot - I'll bet most people havent even read the WHO IS ELIGIBLE section. And why say you have known DanDruff since you were kidsBecause we have been and I was trying to bring some humor up, which obviously you didn't find funny. At 15, I bet it would have been funny to say some fart jokes or something, huh? That may be the only thing you find funny. And why even post anything at allI'll re-iterate (big word for you) - because most people probably hadnt read that (and either had I until today) and now I find out that I may be ineligible. There may be others on this forum that have been televised too and not have realized this. Why did you post? Thats the real question. You brought no value to the thread other than insulting someone. Sounds more like jealousy.
