What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The poster is very wrong, even though the flames are just as dumb and useless. But to try to give you some constructive criticism, you are dead wrong about anyone being able to crush a game just because they have a big stack.Someone with a big stack is at a major disadvantage unless he's at a table with players that are worse than him. This isn't a tournament, where you can bully people out who are trying to survive and move up a spot in the payout structure. If you have a gihugic stack compared to everyone else, they can just work on trying to get their money in against you with the best of it, and the blinds won't be rising - they can just wait and pick their spots. So you'd better be a better player if you are going to buy in big like that. It's most definitely a disadvantage, not an advantage for a bad player to buy in big.

I played in a cash game with Hachem after he won the WSOP. He had a huge stack and people were winning pots off of him just like they would off of anyone else.

just read in dns card player column which i usually like about how he says he bought into a low limit  nlholdem game 4 about 120000 dollars.            first of all i thought all low limit holdem games had max buyins of alot less. but even if this one didnt i dont believe in becoming a instant big stack bully against obviously lesser players. he had about 2o times the average stack and then bragged about how he could beat this game without seeing his cards.  well i am a rank amateur but i would guess if i could instantly have 20 times the average stack i could do quite well against most players without looking   peace and love     phlegm
Ridiculous. I have just wasted 10 seconds of my life reading this. I would love to have DN sit down at a table that I was playing at and buy in for 120 K. Just to have the experience of playing with the guy. It's irrelevant the amount that he bought in for. He is also probably right about being able to beat the game without looking at his cards. It's because he doesn't care about the money. Stu Ungar was one of the greatest players of all time because he never ever cared. For DN, it's just because he's rich.
I disagree. It is quite relevant. You may hesitate calling an all in with your $1,000 to a guy who is pushing with any 2 and has a big stack. also, if you are sitting with $10K after beating the game and in comes a plyer buying in for 100K, it becomes VERY tough to call a big bet ,especially when you know that player wipes his ass with the buy in and could probably be pushing with any 2 cards. I think the amount of buy in plays into the strategy here. please do not discount this fact.
