dreamclown's response to daniel's blog

BeautifulHe will not finish till he has busted you or busted himself trying to. You pissed him off and when its personal thats when the real fire starts.Let the games begin. You're right. And while I do tend to aim for steaming people up, that wasn't even my main motive in the chat w/ D. I'm simply not going to have a friendly coin flip with him for his crumbs, as he barks for in his blog. At least he finally admits more or less that continuing to play him would amount to nothing more than 'throwing him a bone'.WELL NO BONES FOR FIDO. He's been thrown enough (and after enough self-promotion).'Players today don't feel the need to give anything up. It's cutthroat all the way, leave no prisoners,' he says. When I've lost 100k after I let him continue to showdown cards until he has a decent stack again and then get hit with the deck -- when the alternative was simply to take his scraps -- I will hang myself for having thrown him a bone. This is not a Greek social club. It is 500-1000 online. And I don't know him, and I won't pretend to.''In about 20 minutes the kid has me down about $45,000. Playing at those limits, that’s not enough to really “prove” anything, but I think later this week I’ll be giving him a chance to bust me for some more money. He is apparently one of the best online players around and I’m looking to learn a thing or two from him, honestly.''And after lecturing me on 'losing yourself your action, kid', and 'bad for business, etc.', he has completely contradicted himself in (seemingly) committing 300k to a match with me.Drink timegcc

I'm not here to swing off DN's nuts. I think he's a really good guy and an amazing player, and I consider myself a fan for those reasons. On the other hand, there have been times recently when I wished he would stop talking about this appearance and that side-deal and just play cards. I was really glad when the blogs suggested DN knew it was time to increase his focus on poker. That said, I hope DN absolutely wrecks this jerk. Dreamclown's posts show he has absolutely no class. When this guy falls, there's going to be no one to catch him on the way down. That's what happens when you kick every one on the way up. He hasn't done anything to merit this sort of talk. Strangely enough, the one who has earned that right, is the one who is choosing to keep his mouth shut and play.Regarding what he did say, I think it's very big of DN to concede he might be -ev in this matchup. This becomes even more true when you consider that he would likely be huge +ev in other games and especially in any live game. When you're the champ, you look the other guy right in the eye and you take his best shot. Do that, then kick his clown ass, Daniel.

OK. All you guys can get of Daniel's nuts already. Dreamclown will break Daniel's 300k bank roll that will stick on pokerroom very fast. He can't wait to play DN all day long. Why? DC is a far better online limit player. He's leagues aheard of DN. And he's not a jerk. He doesn't want to flip coins for $5k, instead wants to play real poker. He has nothing to gain from playing DN for $5k besides 5 big bets, DN could go on a tear and break him for $100k. Now when DN sits with $50k, he can gain $50k from DN so it's a worthy risk. And the guy who said 15 minutes of fame. I believe Clown has won a WPT event. He also is one of the top limit players online in the world. So I think he has all the fame he needs. Not everyone is as attention hungry as Daniel.

Are you mentally retarded? He can risk whatever he wants, its not a freezeout.

Wow, you listen to DN again? Say that DN were to come back to 10k and then DC quits. DN would still be complaining he didn't give him a shot to come back to even. Unless the requirement for DC quitting is that DN wins the last pot which is retarded. You sir are the donkey idiot.

This tune sounds familiar. It's almost like you guys discussed these points on a thread allready, and made each other believe they're valid.TP/MM

Its really simple.. You play in a game as long as you believe you have an edge. He (dreamclown) obviously believes he doesnt have an edge playing against a shortstack, so he quit.Nothing wrong with that, just playin smart poker.Just my 2 cents..peaceP.S. before the flames start. Im a DN fan and believe that in the long run he will show a nice profit , but thats just my opinion,

If Dreamclown had 50 million on the table and DN had 250k, would the thought of him risking 200 times as much even cross his mind? The only argument that is of any substance is that being able to go all in before the river potentially negates some of Dreamclown's advantage, and he doesn't want to play under those conditions. If Dreamclown happens to read this, I have a proposition for you. We'll set a program to pick a number from 1-100 at $1/per, with me taking 1-51 and you taking 52-100. I'll put up $1 million you put up$100 and we'll have freezeouts until you say stop. You could win 1 million only risking 100! How can you turn this down?!

While DC can quite possibly be a very good online player for anyone to think he has anything more then a minor edge at best over DN is pretty insane. I do find it pretty interesting though that DN is depositing 300k online to really take a shot at this guy. Its obviously good for FCP the pokerroom and pokerroom in general as DN playing anyone in 500/1k stakes is sure to draw some publicity.

If Dreamclown is that much better then if Daniel gets lucky again DC will just break him to a small stack and flip the coin again until he wins. Or is it that he is scared of luck? I better fold my overpair, he could hit is flush. JOPKE.

If i was DreamClown (which I'm not, but wouldn't mind his bankroll), I don't think I'd be satisfied until I "busted" DN during that session. Then, if i busted him 2 sessions in a row, I'd be tootin' my horn. As for right now, this just makes DreamClown look like a young punk. (A rich young punk, but still....a punk). Nice hit and run. You got the loot, but you still don't have the respect.

Uhh, no offense...but: While it wasn't for 300,000, this guy has beaten daniel twice in a row, down to 5,000, hence the latest blog, and promotional threat to play him for $300. While it might be ego that starts this fight, it will continue for promotional purposes, so that everyone around here can "swing from danny's nuts" and say "go daniel. get him!" we'll still be poor, lonely idiots, but we've gotta root for the poker guy, like a pro sports team.don't get me wrong. I like daniel, and sometimes if i see him playing i've rooted for him. but other times i just view him as an arrogant jerk who can throw money around like it's nothing, and always brags about it. it's a catch-22. i want to similar to him, yet i resent some of what he does.

I'll bet this guy is such a pu$$Y that Daniel will NEVER get the chance to win his money back!!!Oh yeah, he might get some back, but I'll wager DC leaves while he's still up a few thou then changes his name or just never comes back and never gives DN a chance to get ahead of him in overall money. That way this assclown can go his whole life saying he's up on kidpoker...it'll be on his gravestone!! :club:
