faite4u 0
I have been following daniel since his articles 1st started appearing on pokerpages way before he made this site. I am a traditonal lurker because i am not really strong at composeing ways to bash people and make em look stupid(AKA SMASH and how many others). I am sorry but rewarding the people that make more posts with more freerolls and other opporunities is entirely unfair to the loyal members who chose the mellow approach and not bash new posters. I am sure some of you will say that there is other ways people can get a high post count but really and truely if you dont shamlessly bump crap or you are a wiz at posting on the strat section your number wont be as high or high at all. I am not crying to get into more freerolls based on posts and i would sit out on all of em if that is what it takes to say i am sticking up for other people that surfed this great site 2 to 10 times a day but didnt post alot.Aaron Devault

If you look at the peoplle that have tons of posts flaming people (I am among them) I am sure that in 99% of those cases you will find that they have far more than 19 content driven posts. MAXIMA 0
Read the Protege seat 2 in regards to freerolls. This Seat #2 rewards those members of the FCP Community who have been the most active over the years. Having said that, it should also be noted by all the FCP Forum Members that making hundreds of unnecessary posts just to increase your total number (for future promos like this one) will do you no good. This exact format for the Forum Junkies Seat is a one-of-kind and won't be replicated going forward. So these bullshit post don't count.Maxima

Fullhouse7 0
I agree with OP---I've lurked for over 9 months---too many ppl here post/respond via BS responses/counts. Content driven responses should count--and, yes, you can decipher them---ASK those that know that online poker is rigged or that the PATRIOT ACT is needed.Fullhouse7
jdyzf88 0
I am a fellow "lurker" of the forums, mostly because I just dont have the game to post in strat, or feel the need to post in general. that being said, this site usually makes me laugh several times a day. I dont have any problems with frequest posters having an advantage, perceived or otherwise, because they are the same reasons many of us keep coming back here. So, keep posting, flaming and do what you do. (especially Ron) Best of luck to all, i am back to lurking!

MarionSauce 0
Hi. While Smash can wittily flame someone, he also helps a lot of posters' game. I suggest reading his posts first before YOU decide to FLAME him. How many posts have YOU had that have helped others? If I gave you the benefit of the doubt, maybe 18. Smash makes people look stupid, usually because they are stupid. Where is he now when you need him? Hmm? Now, we can all stop posting and take your path of "veteran lurking". That way, you can KNOWINGLY stick up for us all; how do you even know who lurks 2 to 10 times a day? Is there some kind of lurking club that I don't know about?
Stealth Beagle 0
How is it wrong to reward the people who provided you free content?Bingo. I understand where the OP is coming from and like him/her, I lurk and read much more often than I post, but it doesn't make sense to criticize one single seat being reserved for those that do, since they make FCP as entertaining as it is. InsanityCubed 0
Look at the main page of this site. I'm pretty sure the word community is mentioned there. The people who post here are part of this community, since we talk to each other about things poker and non-poker. Let's say you and some friends (assuming you have friends) go out for a beer and have a nice discussion. Every time you go out though, there's a few creepy looking people just sitting around listening to your conversation. You don't really mind them, but are you going to be buying them presents at this time every year? I don't think so. I'm not trying to criticize you for lurking, just don't expect to be recognized if you don't use your voice.

JackArnal 0
As a lurker in a similar situation to the OP (pokerpages convert), I can see his point. However, I have to think that anyone with a shit-ton of posts must hav e said something useful once or twice. I'm a little salty that I don't get that extra shot at the protege, but so be it. I am willing to give that up so I can use my precious time reading fantastic and literary superior posts about "stoopid newbs" "jackoffs that should know the answer to that question if you have to ask it" (SW). In all honesty, I do get quite a bit of entertainment from this site, and I also get a little something out of the strategy forums. I'll give up a little protege equity for that.P.S. +1, Last one to 100 posts gets a backrub!
