Jdr999 0
Party Poker $25PLODelt Qh-Jd-Ts-9s, in EP. I raise pot. Next person re-raises, and then a person in late positon re-raises. (I have both covered)Should I gamble, or lay it down, and why.
KVOM 0
I wouldn't raise this in EP, and would fold now. Without knowing the relative stack sizes it's hard to know for certain, but out of position I think folding is correct.
vanilla icely 0
Yeah, I say lay it down. How much of a chip advantage do you have? It's a great drawing hand, but thats all it is - its not gonna win any prices unimproved. You have to figure that at least one of the two raisers has a big pair, and probably a few of your straight outs are lying in those 2 hands as well.I wouldve just limped preflop, unless the tables incredibly tight, and its going down to any pot raise, let alone two...You need to consider a) position - what are you gonna do if you dont hit the flop?B) how much of an advantage you have on them- if you call an allin and lose (you can guarantee someones chip are in the middle on the flop or turn), are you crippled?and c) what are the players like? LAG, I dont mind the cll if only for the implied odds if you hitting big, anything else, they wouldnt be raising without something thats gonna hurt you....
Jdr999 0
I was up from $25 to $45, and the other's hand around $20 each. The table wasn't that aggressive pre-flop. Was the first time I saw a raise, a re-raise, and a re-re raise. Most players were tight pre-flop, but very loose post flop.BTW: Both of them had A-A-x-x, and I would of flopped two pair to win a huge pot if I wanted to risk $20 doing so. srblan 0
If you hadn't put in the initial raise, then by the time the betting got back to you, you might actually have been able to make the call. As it stood, though, you definitely would have been gambling to call. However, you didn't indicate the pot size, the stack sizes, or the bet amount to you. If the bet was less than 10 bucks, I might have considered calling with about 50 in my stack. However, I could see the logic in folding, also.
srblan 0
B) how much of an advantage you have on them- if you call an allin and lose (you can guarantee someones chip are in the middle on the flop or turn), are you crippled? Why is this important in the decision? It is a cash game, there is no such thing as crippled (not in the sense that you are so short-stacked that you will not be able to make moves, anyway). If you lose when you've made a sound decision, then you should rebuy.
