DrawingDeadInDM 0
You got a lot of money is an overwhelming favorite versus the field. You can't censored too much about that.No I'm not censored about these two pots. They simply stick in my mind because they both happened in the same *long* poker session. I lost the first big pot... busted out shortly after that, walked away for an hour, then came back and won it all back (I hope I NEVER have a roller coaster weekend like that again.. I put way too much of my bankroll at risk and luckily managed to make it even). I had been playing for thirty hours straight, so I wasn't even remotely near my optimum play. Add on to that the fact that I was playing on tilt... Boy am I glad the deck slapped me in the face in the second half of the session...I treat that as a *lesson learned* weekend -- thankfully it didn't cost me the significant portion of my bankroll that it should have cost me.Later this week, I'll give the full story: I think there were many valuable lessons I learned that weekend that I would be happy to share.Cheers,MerbyHeh, um. That was directed to Dynon. But, I understand. I'd like to see those hands.

benhoug 0
The minimum raise on the flop is no good. Couldn't agree more. I feel like a broken record here, but let me just say it one more time - STOP MIN-RAISING, IT'S A TERRIBLE PLAY.To the OP, it sucks that your straight (with a flush draw) lost to a boat, but if, by the title of your post, you are implying that this was the "worst" beat ever, you're waaaaaaaaaay off. He's gonna get there about a third of the time, that hardly constitutes a "bad beat."

It wasn't a very passive table so I really wasn't worried about the boat. So I decided for once in my life to actually semi-trap. Didn't work out though, whatever what can you do? I really disagree with min raising normally if you your hand is in any danger at all, however I had no reason to worry this hand due to play passive by a set. This player is usually active so it really threw me off.I suffered beats way way worse than this, I was just disappointed I lost this hand, after a cold week of cards it was just another saddening experience.
