Potomophobia 17
I have been a long time lurker and some time poster on this site for a while. I'd like to add my two cents to the new site debate.First, I'd like to congratulate Daniel for combining a forum and an on-line site. Hey...you can now do one stop shopping on the net. The forum itself hasn't changed. And since I used to play at other sites and peruse the forum I see no difference.I've also been impressed with the response that the support group has shown in what has to have been a difficult product launch. They have listened and responded quickly to the feedback from the forum members. No other site I know of has demonstrated that type of service. The forum members really do have a voice. The protege challenge is interesting. And for Daniel to commit to the time and effort needed to devote to one individual is admirable. But being a family man, I don't see myself being able to devote the time needed to take advantage of this unique offer. All that being said, I'd like to add the following:It is a Poker Room skin.I have been playing on Poker Room for 2 years now. I've always liked their software. I have also been playing at Poker Room through Power Player, another skin. I started there with a $25 free bonus I found at this forum. That site has on-site rakeback and a VIP rakeback bonus as well. (I just noticed that MarionSauce qualified for the month of November.) From what I've seen in the last few days, it doesn't make much sense for me to play through FCP. I'm a recreational player, but I'm in it for the money. I use every edge I can get. And all smart poker players do the same. I have had accounts at all of the major sites: Party, Pacific, Stars, Bodog, Poker Room, Full Tilt, etc. I look for the biggest bang for my buck.If I am to continue playing Poker Room, I won't do it through FCP. It's a simple matter of money. The bonus situation at FCP is mediocre at best. There are other sites out there that offer better incentives to play at Poker Room.In conclusion, it's not a bad set up. And I'll play through my initial deposit. But until they offer me a better deal than the one I get elsewhere, that will be it.Best of luck to Daniel and all the FCP crew. justblaze 0
so, essentially, you dont like that theres no rakeback. meanwhile, 30 seconds of research would reveal that the affiliate program is currently being set up.
DanielNegreanu 141
I respect what you wrote and will take it into consideration. The whole bonus program isn't set in stone and I can guarantee you that there will be promotions down the road that will interest you.
Randy Reed 0
After the initial onslaught of changes and problems, I have found alot of comfort in the response by you and the team. Actually, amazing response. I have deposited, and am learning, but plan on spending alot of time there, so thanks.
RikyRicardo 0
I think for a brand new site on a solid skin.... I love the support... never had better and that is why I will continue to play on the FCP site. I didn't like the skin of poker room. But I do like the players and have been playing at Hollywood, they had a great bonus.. but it is the players on the major networks that attract me... and the fish are swimming... I find the FCP skin a nicer skin then PR but not as nice as HP. I like the forums... always have... the only issue I have had with them is no access from work.. like I can with 2+2. Anyways Good on ya Daniel....I am still reeling from busting out on Tuesday... the last person to go
DDiabolical 0
I think this forum is going to be the best feature of FCP, where else can you post a suggestion for a poker site and know that realisticly it will be read?Good job.

sirch1 0
I think it is funny that so many people are have complaints about the new site . Do you think party poker and other sites like that were perfected in a week. The answer is no, i had friends play on party around when it first came out and it was full of bugs and had little to no bonuses. YOu cannot c ompare a site that just launched to PartyPoker. Party is the best site on the planet because of the number of people alone. If this site ever gets 50k people playing oon it at any time of the day you could expect to see some bonuses. bbolt50 0
I like the skin but they do not offer the same deposit methods I would like to see the edition of epassport since that is the only one that i am currently using. And is it possible to transfer money from your pokerroom account to this one?
THIR13EN 0
I have not played too much on other sites....But I have not heard anyone talk about how much you see the pro's playing in games (in a game that we can afford).DN has already started a few low buy-in tourney's and hosting low limit Hold'em games. Also I was impressed with the customer service and the support I received. If DN keeps listening to what we are saying, stays involved with the site and its players. Yeah I think this will be one of the better places to play and my money will stay here to find out. Also I want to get a chance to play with DN, without having to pay $100,000-$500,000.VIVA LA FCP Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
