I played on Pokerroom when I first started online back in Feb.The only reason I am even close to being even (I'm not even, down a tad) as an online player is b/c of Pokerroom.I beat up the $50 and $100 SNG's (bankroll mgmt, is that Latin?) and I made two final tables (one in a rebuy that I never rebought in) out of like 6 mtts in one month of play. I had never read a book before I saw this site. My point is, it musta been soft.Speeds is a skinny douche wad, and I love him for it. Link to post Share on other sites

It gobbles all my cpu without doing anything whenever i have any other visually intensive app (windows media player, wintv, sometimes even partypoker, etc) open.The games are ridiculously passive, tho. If the software bugs are fixed I might try this charter bonus out. But seeing as they've been around since the first time I used pokerroom, I doubt that. Link to post Share on other sites

Â The rake is comparable to other sites and better then some.1$ Bonus for 3$ Rake.. Â How difficult is that?If I read it correctly...its $1 bonus for $3 rake contributed. So just because a hand is raked $3, doesn't mean you're getting a $1 bonus.Someone PLEASE correct me if I am wrong.I chatted with customer service last night and was told $1 bonus for $4 rake...which seems very tough. Abbaddabba 0 Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 Im kind of indifferent to it.I'll probably sign up on account of the bonuses and the free rolls, and i may very well play on it regularly, but im no more excited about the FCP skin than i would be of another site with comparable sign up bonuses. It's not as if we really needed an FCP skin in order to play together. Strat tables on party .50/1LHE were held on a semi-regular basis before. All this means is that instead of on party, they're going to be held on pokerroom, which means ill need an account there to participate.Also - I prefer the old front page to the new one. I always figured if DN opened his own site it would at least contain all the games that are played in the Big Game.Maybe in the future.......???I'll probably chuck a few bucks in there eventually,though. Pupsta 0 Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 i guess i should respond to this post since i'm not a noob and im better than all the noobs and all thati love the protege thing, i've needed a change for a little while, wanted an excuse to try pokerroom, so i'm prob going to be moving to FCP more or less exclusively, at least in the short term. so far, i can't stand the site, but i hope it'll grow on me. some of the nuances just annoy the bejesus out of me. damnit daniel, if you had made a fulltilt skin, i'd probably never stop playing poker....like, divorce my wife, tape my eyelids open, and never leave. But I do read the forum almost every day. I'm not a big fan of the interface, it's not even as good as the regular pokerroom interface, mainly because I think the alert noise if the most annoying thing in the world. I'm a musician, and sound is very important to me.Do you guys think that there will be improvements if we suggest them?There are some advantages, like having out own chat, and the ability to create our own tournament, etc. Also, one of the main advantages might be the fact that our imput might be taken seriously, and the interface may get changed or improved upon due to our suggestions.It's a start, and hopefully it will get better from here. Plus, Daniel didn't have to do the charter membership thing, and the promotions involved. Even though the bonus isn't that great, it is a little better for us charter members, which I think was a nice gesture.Having a chance to be Daniel's protege, however hard it may be to achieve is still pretty cool. Not trying to be offensive, just stating the obvious. I don't care if someone with 5 posts signs up, because I don't know them. But I do care if the guys I "talk" to all the time sign up.EDIT: Of course all new posters are welcome, and I try not to flame without good reason.
