Keyz11 0
My favorite hand is K8, be it suited or not, no other hand makes 2 pair for me more often, no explanation for that. Clubs seem to make flushes for me more than nay other suit. If I am gonna get Aces, They seem to get cracked less with A A . Just my small blind
Crocolyle 0
I've got to go with 7 8 . I flopped two straight flushes within three days with that specific hand. The first time was in a live no limit game at the local cardroom here and the second was on JetSetPoker.com. Amazingly I got a ton of action on both hands!
koolromeo 0
my favorite is j-10 suited, but 9-10 suited is a close second. once my friend folded 9-10 suited for a raise preflop and asked me if i would have called. i said i play it every day and and twice on sunday, so we now call 9-10 suited twice on sunday. KDawgCometh 2
J8, J9(suited or off) You will hit many flops with these hands and I've gotten many straights with them. Mid suited conectors are also a lot of fun, especially in No Limit, you will bust people and put them on tilt badly by winning with them

scweeber 0
I was just wondering if and what everyones favorite hand is. Mine are :spades8: :hearts8: and :clubsq: :clubsj:Suited spades. Just look clean and shiny, dunno why. Hell, I even get excited seeing Q4 spades :oops:that's funny because my best friend's favorite hand is Q4 suited or not...my favorite hand is K-10... i just seem to always win with that hand... tolbert 0
Where to begin...J-6, 10-6, 5-7, 8-6 suited, 8-3, 9-3 of course, K-6, 8-4, 10-3, J-4, and K-8.8-3, 8-4, and 5-7 are the most magical.
MrConceit 0
Q9 suited (ideally spades).First time I ever flopped a straight flush was playing those cards.Heh, that was my favorite hand for a while too. I like suited connectors anyway, and I had like a few lucky hands with it. Sadly, I apparently played it too much or overplayed it. I checked, and in 21k hands of 15/30 it's my biggest money loser. Sadly I'm serious. I guess I have to give up my favorite hand. :)
MrConceit 0
8 9 and 7 4 are pretty nastyScoff! They have their place. 6 limpers and you're on the button? SURE!74 suited is the hand I won my biggest 2/4 pot with ever back in the day. Like 132 bucks!

joeythep 0
how about :diamonds4: :diamonds2: ? I just won the final hand of a $5 mtt with that hand. I was heads up with 350k to the other guy's 100k. I had just got caught in a bluff a few hands earlier, and I was starting to feel scared. After folding preflop three straight hands, I got the above hand on the big blind, and he raised again. This time i flat called him. I don't know what I was thinking. Then the flop comes Q-2-4. He's been trying to push back at me the last few hands, so I'm not surprised when he makes another bet at the pot, this time it's 24k, same size as the pot. I reraise him another 48k, so he'll be half in the pot just to call. He raises all in I contemplate the possibility of him having QQ, then decided he had AQ and made the call. But before I did, I warned him..."you're going to hate me". Sure nuff...he flipped over AQ. No ace no Queen, I took home $400. So...I have a new favorite Junk hand
troutsmart 0
T 7 I know, I'm ripping off Daniel's favorite hand. Allow me to defend myself. When I started playing poker, I played very much by the book. I learned the odds and percentages very early in my poker learning curve, and had never been a typical loose player. This is due to the fact that I actually read a couple poker theory books before I ever played. I was taught to play tight. I won early, but soon anybody who played regularly with me would simply fold and the pots that I happened to win were getting smaller each time I played. It was then that I read an article by Daniel in which he mentioned T 7 . I'm not sure if those where the suits, but it was offsuit. I immedietly thought, "why is a player this good playing with such a horrid hand?" I read a few more articles by Daniel and my eyes were opened to a different style of play. The next NL game I found myself in, I started out playing my normal tight style. I won a couple smallish pots, and then it happened. A hand was dealt, and a couple players limp. I'm on the button and look down to see t 7 . I put a chip on my cards. I announce, "raise." I'm thinking, "here goes." I raise like I have my usual high pocket. Fold. Fold. Fold. The usual occurance. Wait, one caller. Forgive me if I don't remember the suits, but the flop came AT7. He checks and I bet 70% of the pot, he calls. The turn is another T. He checks and I think, hmm. I bet just over half the pot, while I'm thinking, "he's going to pick up on me betting smaller than usual." I have a reputation at this point of betting big. As I'm thinking that I've been discovered and am expecting a fold, he says, "raise." I think, "wow. This is going to be good. Wait, does he have AT? I hope not. No. He thinks this is a scare card and I'll lay down my AK when he comes over the top." I'm thinking this when he says, "All-In." I look back at my hole cards, just to make sure I really was a lunatic and had raised with T 7 . Yep. I push my chips in saying, "call." He asks, " You have big slick?" as he turns over JT. I just show my cards, and a gasp is heard over the table. "What the hell?" he says. "I would've never put you on that hand." The river was harmless, and I doubled up. I can vividly remember how great I felt right then, having just suprised that table. Yeah, I didn't put him on a ten and thought he was making a play, having a weak ace, but that didn't matter much to me at that point, because I ended up with the money. So, I hold T 7 in high regard, because it is the hand that changed my game. I've remained a tight player overall, but that hand taught me how to change my game around. The pots I won increased in size after that, and I feel that my imagination was born.Daniel, I'm sorry I stole your favorite hand, but thanks for helping me see a different way of playing the game. joshrogo 0
having a "favorite" hand that is not AA, KK, QQ or AK is a sure way to ruin financially ...anyone that says they win consistently with 7-8, 10-j .. etc .. is not being honest ..
FOOSE1 0
Other than the obvious AA KK QQ . . . I love small pocket pairs especially 44 for some reason. If you hit trips on the flop nobody expects it. They are also easy to lay down if the flop is no good. Also, I like to play any 7 9 in late position. Won a lot with these two cards. pokerspice 0
Favorite hand for me has become 99, i don't care about the suits. This hand has done well for me at the casino, and online. But like a previous poster said, it's an easy hand to get away from when you don't hit anything on the flop.
