beans-n-icewater 18
The casinos here on Fremont are pretty rough too... when you walk into the Gold Spike, they pat you down for knifes or guns... if you dont have any, they rent them for a nominal fee...

Sushiman 0
Uhhh....casinos ARE bad. All thier profit comes from the incentive of poor people trying to strike it rich without actual work. Some people enjoy the thrill, but there are tons of action junkies wasting away money that could be used to probably pay some bills or spent on family. My friend's family owns several Chinese restaruants, and inevitably come payday all the dishwashers, waiters, and cooks will take a hefty portion of a pretty meager check to go gamble it up. I'm not saying this is the casino's fault, but that's what they are there to do. Casinos exploit greed. It's guys trying to get money, girls trying to get money, girls trying to get guys who have money, and guys getting girls with money. I frequent the AC cardrooms when I can, but overall the whole casino scene leaves a pretty unsavory taste in my mouth.
