If I see one more person tap the table before they exit the WSOP or WPT, I'm gonna kill myself. That is the most annoying thing in the world. It didn't bother me 2 years ago when I was watching these tourneys but now it drives me nuts. What are they doing ? Are they really that superstitious ? Is that what it's about ? I've been in 3 live tourneys in my life. My last one was a NL WSOP circuit tourney and I didn't tap the table before I left. Does that mean I'm going to be involved in a terrible car accident or something ?

i personally first encountered it at the blackjack tables here, if your first card was an ace alot of players and even some dealers would double tap the felt before the next card.i dont see why its annoying?
