gilbertology 0
Does anyone know why the moderators lock down threads that have no business being locked down. I posted a topic on the WPT championship which I saw for the first time last night. Then steve7stud replied by saying we already discussed this, moderators should lock it down. In the morning, it was locked down! Can anyone tell me why? I wasn't alluding to any collusion between Hasan and Tuan, I was just talking about the large blinds at the end and one hand where Tuan laid down midpair to an all-in and the reasoning behind this. Knowing the moderators, this thread is probably going to get locked down too. Anyone else think moderators shouldn't lock down threads that promote a meaningful discussion? Especially just because a single person who himself isn't a moderator tells them to. Most of the threads on here are a waste of time, and I post something that hopefully generates some conducive debates and it gets locked down. Go figure.

tsalagi 0
Useless or repeating posts or not, it does seem that there are more complaints about moderators being more aggressive lately. Hope this is not the beginning of a trend here, over-moderation.

Fubar The Sperm 1
I think its dumb to lock a thread just becaue it was discussed before. If it was discussed recently then the person should search for the thread and comment on it there but if its a very old discussion there is no reason why some one new can't talk about it with others who didn't get a chance when it was first discussed. Just cause a mod doesn't like a thread because its similar to one that was made in the past is no reason to lock it.
