Yep... got to love poker.... spent the last 2 months working my ass off to get a nice bankroll going.... always played but never really played if you know what i mean..... worked up to a nice solid 1800(not bad for a college student)..... and spent the last 2 days giving it away to pretty much anybody and everybody..... needless to say when i lost my last 240 with my made flush to rivered quads..... the wall and my arm took a beating.......... so now i have a broken wrist and arm in 2 places...........i know its been on here before but i'm not wasting my time searching.... i know someone will be smart and say "so i had to waste my time reading this instead?" well if you say that.... then i hope you get herpes........but really...... all i want to know is the best approach to take from here........ other then time off..... because right now it really isn't an option..........

bro, first and foremost, TAKE A BREAK.Start focusing on a positive hobby, exercise...and just ignore poker for about a month.. probably be the hardest month to ignore poker because your so used to playing but if you can outlast it, you will feel so much better.

how is taking time off not an option? It sounds like it's exactly what you need. Take a LONG time off. You're a college student, there are plenty of other things to focus on. Poker will ALWAYS be there, but college is only 4 years.

I agreed, take some time off. I'm in college as well. We have our good days at the tables and our bad days, but the weekends are always f**in great. Here's an idea: Get a little tanked up, go out to a party and find the hottest girl that you can find that feels sorry for your busted up limb. Being in college means we are broke anyway, all the time. Gotta accept this. And remember your math: Beer+Girls+ Girls who drink beer= +EV
