nachunja 0
i've been desensitized.i've cashed all my bankroll and havent played poker in a while.i go to my university book store and see an ipod nanoand i just bought it.like it was candy.i wasnt thinking in terms of BB or poker at all but.i saw the 250 dollar product and contemplated for 3 seconds and bought it.i felt awed when i got home becausebefore poker, i would not even DREAM of making such a decision in 3 seconds. more like 3 weeks in buying electronics like this.i've become desensitizedthis cannot be healthyi was hoping this would be only at the tables.. not in life. InertGrudge 0
This is one point of my game that I know must improve: I have to stop thinking in terms of money. Maybe it's because I have never had a bunch of money at once, but I always wonder about what I could have with that money. If I lose a lot, I'm like "....that was an iPod I just lost" for example. So, yeah...I hope the day will come when I become completely insensitized to money. I really do. cardcore 0
I am totally desensitized to money, it's horrible. I spent over $1500 last night on courtside tickets to a Celtics game for my girlfriend and I without giving it a thought.

zimmer4141 0
Yeah, I think the same type of thing is happening to me, I am more comfortable making big purchases, but I think this is just because I have more expendable income.

Ninjaballz 0
Its happened to me on a smaller scale, and in a positive fashion. I use to be a cheap bastard to put it honestly. But now meals that are under 20 dollars and random items under 100 dollars seem cheap to me and I don't mind spending the money, not that I do it often. But I think it is more do to sports betting than poker. Betting 1k+ or so a week really makes smaller sums of me seem less significant.I did blow throught some cash this weekend however on celtics tickets, alcohol, and a shitload of sushi.
