biggest comeback

Recommended Posts

I had a guy down to 10 chips (out of 10k)come back and win 11 hands in a row (I put him all in everytime) then sucked out on me for the final hand.
He would have over 20480 chips after those 11 hands and since it's (out of 10k) I think you are recalling a dream.
yeah I knew someone was going to call me on it. I don't remember how many hands it was, I lost them all though, I was pretty drunk

I'm bored and have never seen this topic and I'm interested to see what's the lowest you've been in chips(what were the blinds as well) in a tournament but ended coming back and winning it or placing relatively high.
I was down to 75 in chips in a UB tourney...with 260 players left.....and I made the money and finished 32nd...when I donked out and called an allin with JJ....guy had KK.....good bye final table.

another one of mine that is worth mentioning is me going into the final table withg 30k, while johnnybax had 400k ish, I managed to get to HU and he had a 6 to 1 chiplead on me (somewhere around there) and I got very very lucky and won it. 6k. pretty good comeback in my books.

Ok i know somebody has probably done this but i thought my comeback here was pretty impressive. I was in a low limit multi table tournament with around 500 people left in it and about 15 minutes into it i had 30 chips total left and the blinds were 15/30. I went on to finish 4rth in the tournament and ended pushing all in for over 50,000. So whenever i'm shortstacked in a tournament, i think, "hey you were down to $30 chip and you came back, this should be a piece of cake."

I had 2 BB's at the 150/300 level of the PStars 25k guaranteed (now 40k) and came back to become the chip leader and finished 21st (ish). Only real big comeback I've made in a tournament.

2 years ago at the LA Poker Classic $1,500 Limit Hold Em. At the first break I literally had 1 chip left (25), we started with 1,500. I went all in, doubled through a few times and when it came down to the final 40, I was a huge chip leader. The I had Q-Q run into K-K with a flop of K-Q-x. The blinds were so high, that I lost most of my stack. Ended up finishing 9th out of like 400. Not bad for having one chip :club:

in a tournament i was outchipped 40 to 1 going into heads up and only had 1.5 big blinds. after two hours of heads up play i took the chip lead for the first time and then a few minutes later i won the tournament when all of the chips got in preflop with kings vs. aces and i spiked a king on the flop

Not exactly how I visioned my first post, but I was in a $50 MTT and got down to six players. I was just short of covering a BB, but came back and won the tourney. Needless to say it was a nice run of lucky breaks along the way to do that. Anyway, y'all seem pretty harsh on new posters, so I can only imagine …

Mine was at a local casino, $30 buy in about 40 players (top 4 pay)I was pretty much blinding out, I had one $500 chip blinds were 300/500.I had one hand to play before I would be the BB.I had K 10, called all in, flopped two pr and tripled up, couple hands later K 10 again went all in again several callers (starting chip stack is only 1000, so by this stage of game lot of short stack players) again I pick up pot.I ended up playing only 6 hands the whole tourny, 3 of them were K 10 and I won the thing.Another one I really liked was at the same place just the other week, we had agreed to cut in a 5th pl so they take 20 off 1st and 10 off 2nd.I ended up HU with chip leader, I had three $500 chips he had everything else, he looked at the payouts and asked "how come I have to give up $20?"Tourny director says "you gotta win it first"I was all in first hand and double up when I got trip J'sI went on to pull ahead and beat the guy.....very satisfying.

ha, last night at a department game.a 12 person tournament, each of us started with 1500, so that means there were 18000 chips in play.fast forward to HU. i have ALMOST all the chips, my opponent has 200 (so i have 17,800), exactly, blinds are 200/400. he goes off and doubles up SEVEN times in a row against me, only once going in with the best hand. he then has me all in at one point. i win the hand and then take him out on the next hand.or, in an online tourney, i've won a 800 entry MTT after being down to 60 chips at the 10/20 blind level.

My biggest comeback ever was a ultimate bet tournament about six months ago. Blinds were up to 50-100 i had 175 in chips. utg raised i moved in with 7s then button moved in behind me utg called, i flopped a set to beat aces and queens and went on a run from there. I won the whole tourney and cashed out over $2400, not bad for a $40 buy in. Before that hand i actually was the short stack of the whole tourney.
