PP 40k guaranteed. Yall know the deal. Horrendous blind structure and your basic crapshoot. blinds 400-800(about to go up) Avg. stack is 11000I have 15500 after I postDealt 10 10 in the BB. Folded to CO who raises to 2400. CO has about 12k behind him Ive been at this table for 2 or 3 rotations and he has raised my blind every time it was folded to him. Once I called with some marginal hand, missed the flop and checked, and he overbet the pot and jammed.SB short stack goes all in for 2k.What is my play??

all in.. cut off will fold, and if he doesn't you're probably ahead of both players, but you're out of position and your M is shrinking, about to go under 10 at the next level... obviously you're not respecting the hand of the SB, he probably has one high card if he's lucky... But you want to isolate the SB right? That's why i'd move all in and try to make the cutoff fold, and then even if he does call, you won't be playing out of position. What did you do?

The great thing about going all in, is you never have to guess after the flop. you have a good chance of stealing his raise, and if he calls you you should have a good chance of winning the showdown. Going all in also denies this guy the ability to outplay you after the flop, which is verry good for you.

This is ugly.I like the push, but i also like the idea of C/O actually getting a good hand and calling, and then smashing my desk when i lose to AK in a race.Hmm. Tuff decision Hoosier, but given that its the 40K guarantee and ur only 3 blinds above the avg. I push here

To be honest, this is a time where I would call and see a flop. If the flop is safe (3 unders) then I jam. If it comes a horrible flop like 2 overs, I probably just exit the hand. If there is one over, I probably bet out 2500 or so, and if he pushes then I fold. I would like to see a flop here, and having the upper hand on a coinflip situation by being able to see 3 of the 5 cards.

The most over cards your opponent can have is 2. But there are 4 cards which can fall to which you would possibly fold...(JKQA)I think pushing is the best play, unless you have seen your opponent check it down before when a player is all in. Only if he loves to check it down would i think of calling.
