AK24, ds. I though so. The flop gave me a nut low draw and two back door flush draws so I raised to .08 cents to get control of the betting. I picked up a nut flush draw on the turn so I raised my betting(.16 cents). Then I caught my flush on the river but the board was paired, so I called a min raise. Is this hand played nearly correct on my part?

Hatchet 0
Playing a big pot for a second-nut draw is very often a bad idea. I don't like the first hand much either, you don't have much of a shot at getting the high, normally you don't want to play a big pot with only a low, you really got lucky to catch the runner flush. dank773 0
Playing non nut flushes can kill you in this game. I'm not saying that they are never good, but if I'm playing a K high flush, I want to be the one betting, I don't like calling big bets with it. In this hand, your opponent is showing strength, so unless you know him to be a big donk, you have to give him credit for having you beat. On the first hand, I think you should be check/calling on the flop, hoping to pick up one of your draws cheaply. On the turn, the raise is okay, you've got some outs to scoop, but trying to get there cheaply is okay too. I would be check/calling or check/folding depending on the size of the bet. On the river, it's a small bet so you have to call. In this game, you'll often be in a hand where you think, "There's only one hand that beats me" and call or raise, but if you're playing a full ring game, that hand is usually out there. JacKingOff_suit 0
Hand 1, given the size of the pot and the player only bet the min, I would had called but never a raise since there's no chance on high, and your drawing to the low, so keep your drawing cheap and keep as many players in as possible.Hand 2, easy fold. Chamonyx 0
Hand 1: Don't like the raise on the flop, but otherwise fine. Note that if you had just called the flop and Kenneth bet again on the turn, that might have caused you to slow down. Also note how he should have CR you on the turn.Hand 2: Given the stack sizes, you either decide to fold the flop or max-raise it. If stacks were deeper, this is an easy fold with players still to act behind you.
