ping pong table

Recommended Posts

I want to buy one, post a link to what table you think I should get and why. Money isn't really an issue, but I'm not looking for anything too expensive. Unrelated side note: I can no longer stand the general poker forum, can I find refuge in here until all the newbies leave?

It is important to use correct descriptions when posing this question. It's table tennis, not ping pong. :club: I would google table tennis and you will find many links to available tables in you area. I would expect a major sports store to have 3 different levels of tables. There are some important features to look for depending on your needs. If you are planning on using the roll away feature, make sure the braces and castors are quite substancial. You should be able to get a roll away that's relativly affordable. under 200. What really sucks is that the net will be crap. This is one thing you will probably need to order online. Also, make sure you don't cheap out on the balls. Look for (3) star balls. Yasaka brand is my favorite. You will have to have a quality paddle. This is a must. Plan on spending $80 or more for your paddle. I love table tennis!

I love you, ya I think the table will need to be able to roll, I'm thinking indoor/outdoor and maybe a slightly better than bottom of the barrel table.

me and my college roomates bought the cheapest table that we could find and it was about 100. thing is a piece and it took us like 2 hrs to put it together. It does get the job done considering 90% of the play on the table is beirut. :-)
meh, I've made mad cash playing poker and i've got nothing to spend it on, so I'm looking to get a decent table.

I have recently become obsessed with table tennis. I have played about 3 hrs a day on average, which is a lot considering I spend most of life going to school, playing poker, working, and getting trashed.

i actually have a ping pong table that's still in the box that i bought for like 150 a few years ago, but never had the room for it, and i'd be willing to sell it for quite a bit less than the 150 i paid for it, if you're interested.

I'd kick all your asses at ping pong.Even my wife would kick all your asses at ping pong.I'm an f'in ninja at pong, man. That is all.
I would gladly play you for $100 or so. I will play with my left hand ( I'm right handed). I will also play with a pratice paddle which is 4". This is based simply on your use of the brand name Ping Pong instead of table tennis.Your wife however, I would play for $20 matches, right handed with my regular paddle. Let me know.
