ApcktrcktsA 0
The other day DN mentioned thinking about dropping 50K on the Ravens game. Obviously, if he had/did do this he won his bet. Just wondering if DN is an avid sports bettor or just fools around with the games sometims??

insano 0
For anyone who says poker is addictive, they have obviously never dove into betting on sports. It's 10x worse. He knows to avoid it.

zimmer4141 0
Yeah, sports betting is pretty addictive. I'm not addicted, but it definitely makes sports more fun to watch, even putting $20 on it.

Johnny Lately 0
Hve you ever read a book called "Balling the Jack"? Its about a guy based in NY who every Friday he gets paid (weekly) punts all but the money he absolutely needs to survive the week (i.e he walks to work and eats crap) on sports. If he wins he lives like a king - if he loses he's ****ed. Its pretty good. Over here sports betting is really common - little old ladies do it, when they're not blowing their kids inheritance on the horses. In the U.S. it seems lots of people have problems with it. In the U.K. people just aren't into high stakes sports betting.
hels0044 0
He would have lost the bet unless he played money line, which I doubt he would.
gar 0
On a call in show earlier this year--Daniel mentioned that he did wager on sporting events when he was younger . He claimed to be successful but the research took too much of his time.

powerpoker 0
He would have lost the bet unless he played money line, which I doubt he would.ok ok...no he would have LOST the bet if he played the moneyline which was i think around +650 since the ravens LOST the game. If he played the spread which was +11.5 or +12 depending on where you goy it, he covered easily. Moneyline = pick the winner straight up and you get odds on your moneySpread= + or - points depending on who you pickand yes sports betting is way more addicting then poker...is for me at least

AlohaBruce 0
I know guys that lose thousands a month betting on football and they say that they just do it for fun. Right!!!
powerpoker 0
To a true professional sports gambler football is actually the least profitable sport to bet on. Mostly it has to do with there only being 14-16 games a week depending on by weeks, therefore you dont have as many choices. Sports such as baseball, basketball, and hockey where you have multiple choices everyday. Just posting some random nonsense about betting. God im a an action junkie...oh well
