You've got to raise more than that pre-flop in hand 2. Such a small raise is just asking for suckouts.

Anybody would have made that call with suited connectors. That's why they're dangerous.

odd to have two in a row, but those hands are not particularly odd. especially considering you played them both poorly.you should not be drawing to a flush on a paired board. hard to get away from your hand...but try.you need to raise a lot more in the second hand, considering the limpers. a better NL player can tell you how much, but i think you generally add one bb for each limper. that means 120 - and if people are calling loosely, feel free to raise even more.daniel
