I like the idea of a place to discuss this.I like the rules over all. I like that they give all the new people something to use as a guideline. They are pretty clear and concise. Except the whole "links to derogatory content" which, for all we know, could be Daniel's head on a pickle jar. I understand WHY this part is deliberately vague, but I don't really like it.I am a bit concerned about the spam policy, as it appears that technically I am breaking the rules, since my sig includes a link with an affiliate code. Gov, should I change my sig? Is this a hard fast rule, because its pretty common for people to have affiliate code links in their sigs. I can see the whole issue with making threads that spam, but this one is a little weird to me, and I'd appreciate some clarification.RayP.S. captain rulebook! i also am glad you felt the need to remind everyone of someone elses rules. were you having problems with rule breaking posters? Perhaps you have never before broken a rule, and are jealous of those who sometimes break rules, as you have never felt the rush that we, as habitual rule breakers, get on a regular basis. As a result of that lack of rule breaking adrenaline, you now feel compelled to post mundain dribble that i'm sure no one wants to read.Just a thought.

Oh gee, didn't mean to get everyone in a tizzy. I think it's apparent that Daniel and FCP team are planning on taking the site to another level, given the announcement of it's revision and the obvious attempt to gather emails through charter memberships. Then a post appears which suggests some changes will be made in the way things are being moderated.No pimping other sites.No asking for money transfers.The obvious banning of attacks on sex/race/religon etc.Obviously many here have enjoyed a huge amount of freedom and latitude in this area. I don't think anyone disagrees with that assessment, and obviously many wouldn't want it to change. But if it does, how will it effect your view of the general forum? I for one don't have a problem with any of the rules, but would probably miss reading many of the funny comments and banter that goes on.Or do you think it's about time it is cleaned up?Just throwing the obvious out there for discussion.

The thing is, the funny comments and banter can continue. FCP is just asking that it's members use MANNERS while doing so. Many here would simply rather attack someone personally, as opposed to thinking of a valid argument, or a truly humorous response.

I'm not a vet, but compared to the 1300 that joined yesterday I guess I am. And I recongized Natalie not you!!!!!!
