AZWildcat 0
I never saw Babe Ruth or Ty Cobb play either, but, again, I will say with absolute CERTAINTY they are respectively two of the best hitters of all-time.Interesting point here. If you were to make a list of the top 10 hitters ever in baseball, how would you arrange it?According to statistical proof I would assume. Now make a top 10 of poker players. How are you to arrange it?According to statistical proof I would assume.Oh, you don't HAVE that, oops.I appreciate your argument, but be logical here.Yep, no 'statistical proof,' you're correct. Because WSOP results are not STATISTICS, right? And the other countless tournaments are not an example of written historical records? Right. Your argument is the same as the proletariat on this board.I wish they had something like a Cash game, rather than tournament style poker. Phew, then we could play all year!(sw)Sarcasm is the lowest for of humour, fyi. And, what are you getting at, anyway? Maybe, at some point, you had something intelligent to say but somewhere in the nerves between your brain and your hands it turned into non-sensical censored. You sound like a moron. Your ability (or lack of) to get across a point suggests you have english skills worse than that of a Mexican.Hey Heist...do you have something against Mexicans? Just because someone is learning a second language and cannot speak it perfectly, does that make them stupid? I mean, you might as well toss in Asians also...does that make Chau Giang an unintelligent person because he's not easy to understand? Your attempt to put down Teph only furthers the argument that you are the biggest cum dumpster in this forum. Keep the racial profiling out of this forum - it is not necessary if you are going to put someone down... What's next, making fun of Canadians for saying "ay" at the ends of their sentences - because that wouldn't be true English either (oh, the E in English is capitalized, brainiac)... KowboyKoop 0
1.Johnny Moss2.Stu Ungar3.Johnny Chan4.Doyle Brunson5.Phil Hellmuth6.T.J. Cloutier7.Phil Ivey8.Eric Seidel9.Dan Harrington10.Daniel NegreanuJohnny Moss as #1 all time????? Has anyone here ever even seen him play in his prime???? Come onStu Ungar??? INCREDIBLE tourney player, but I think that was really his specialty, and he wasn't much for cash games. So, if this list is top TOURNEY NLH players ever, he can be put at #1 maybe.no problem with Chan.no problem with Brunson.Hellmuth--see Ungar. Great tourney player, especially NLH, but probably just a "decent" cash game player. I don't buy into everyone saying he is a cash game "fish," but I am sure he isn't NEARLY as good in cash games as he is in tourneys.Cloutier.---no problem with him, except I'd put him #1, honestly.Ivey-yeah, maybe. He is the best all around poker player ever, but i don't know about top 10 NLH players EVER. Maybe he is, maybe not. Time will tell. Probably one of the top cash game players ever, however. Seidel--eh. I don't know about top 10. Kinda hard to tell I think with him. Sometime I think he is overrated, other times I think he is underrated. Maybe he sneaks in.Harrington--NO. Great accomplishments at the WSOP. Sure. but there are alot more NLH tourneys than at the WSOP, and if you look at the big picture, i don't think he is top 10 all time. Maybe top 25 or so..maybe.Negreanu--no. not yet anyways. Kinda the same boat as ivey. Still alot of time left to move up or down, but right now, yes, he is one of the best all around players today, but a top 10 NLH player EVER, not so sure. Also, you are missing one player from your list. ROBERT VARKOYNI!

Teph 0
ALL of his play was definitely NOT recorded, you filthy censored. People can deduce based on stats and historical records.I now hope you see how stupid you are, nh.WOW, so this is what a public school education gets you these days, huh? Most of Russel's games were not VIDEO recorded, hence, not many people actually SAW him play. Yes, his stats were recorded by sports writers who were actually at the game. In other words, most intelligent people can make logical deductions based on WRITTEN recorded statistics, which was my point to beging with, gay-wad.According to dictionary.com:re·cord Audio pronunciation of "record" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (r-kôrd)v. re·cord·ed, re·cord·ing, re·cordsv. tr. 1. To set down for preservation in writing or other permanent form. You are the worst kind of fucking idiot. I NEVER said video recorded. I said recorded, as in documented. Before insulting everybody that you can, rethink your logic. Also, are you trying to act like an elitest? If so, you REALLY suck at it. Go die now, thank you.

Drwnded 0
DAN HARRINGTON???!!! are you serious? also a lot of pros ate stu ungar for lunch in cash games. also. keep in mind that johnny moss played against shmuck1 schumk2 and shmuck3. danny and phil and doyle play the best in the world and play almost perfectlyWhat do you have against Action Dan? I'd argue that he certainly belongs on that list. It's probably easier to judge his skill level than some of the other guys on that list based on the superb books he wrote on the topic of NLHE tourney play, as if his WSOP record weren't enough. He's a main event champion, and his back to back 03 and 04 final table appearances in the WSOP ME against fields of that size is a pretty amazing accomplishment.
