Cadam11 0
Yeah its all right if you havent played live before. Nothing to get your hopes up for. Have fun though, go drink at the bar is my advice instead of losing to the people who wont fold.

Naismith 0
Stick to Omaha, if you're good at it. The Omaha players are horrendous.
Pupsta 0
Stick to Omaha, if you're good at it. The Omaha players are horrendous.you don't even have to be good at it.it's much easier to make $ in o8 there than it is in holdem.just be slightly less bad than the rest of the table and you're fine. mrgibb 0
That is it!!!! Â What is tthe deal? Â Indians do not know how to play poker or something?????The state of Florida does not allow limits above 2. I live in Orlando and I have made some trips out there to play. They do offer sit and go tournaments 24 hours a day. Buy in ranges from 120 to 1000 and the sit and goes are No Fold'em also. Sometimes there is a lot of dead money playing in them. Sometimes people will call you pure grabage and will hit the runner runner flush to beat your set. The rake is horrible and like everyone has said, its no fold'em hold'em.If you know Omaha Hi/Lo, there is some good money in those game but you do have to handle drunk old men playing. Also you do need to pay for the booze. There is also the Race Track that has poker but it does not have any higher limits then the Hard Rock. stpgator 0
The Ocean Jewel is dry docked right now and may not resume operations. They offered one or two tables of 1/2 NLHE ($40 min buy in) and on weekend nights would sometimes run a 10/20 NLHE. The 3/6 limit HE never got going on any of my visitswww.oceanjewel.comThe Hardrock has 50 tables and it runs 24 hours. They offer tournaments and sng's a couple of days each week. The Hardrock 2/2 and 1/2 ring games play nearly exactly the the 2/4 games in Las Vegas. Rasies don't mean much, 5 or more seeing almost every flop, and almost every hand goes to showdown with multiple players. The play gets even more loose after the Tampa area clubs and bars close at 3am. That said there is some good eye candy late Thursday through Saturday night at the lobby bar, ceneter bar and in Floyd's. The club, Floyd's, also gets even more loose after the rest of Tampa closes at 3am.http://www.hardrockhotelcasinotampa.com/gaming/casino/There is also poker at Derby Lane in St Petersburg. Noon to midnight with 45 tables. 2/2 ring games and a few tournaments every day along with turbo tournaments and sng's. Buy-in's for all the tournaments are $45. Derby Lane also offers double flop hold 'em.http://www.derbylanepoker.com/
