I acn only hope to be half the donkey that Raymer was on that last hand.

Raymer is not a donkey, he's a LAG, but that doesnt make him bad. Lucky yes, donkey no. He was probably priced in to call on the turn there.

He wasn't really priced in(only 3bb plus his turn bet in the pot). I think he just fell in love with that open-ended straight flush draw. IMO

How much did the guy have left when he moved in over the top. Raymer only needed 2 to 1 to make his call correct.

As best I can tell the big blind was 25K(if the purples are 5K), so there would be 75k preflop and Raymer bet 50k on the turn. It looks to me like Bhutan had in the neighborhood of 400k. So Raymer would have to put in 350k more to win the 525k in the pot.I just don't see how he could rationalize a call where he is most certainly behind and possibly up against a higher flush draw. It's just me, but I can't see that call. I know that overall I am not as good as Raymer, but that call was sketchy to me. But this is only my somewhat ignorant opinion.

Actually it's funny that you say that. At a tournament in Cincinnati he did make a bet that he could make the 7-10 20 times out of 100 shots. Joe is a big-time "action" bowler (jackpots) so he does gamble a lot in bowling. Just for the record. He actually beat me in a tournament in Las Vegas a few years ago, and got himself banned from that tournament during our match :shock:

yo stylin you got to hang with the paradise girls? good job on that and where was the bar or whatever you were watching the final broadcast at. I was in line and then some guy i was talkin to knew someone from ESPN and we got in ahead of everyone and i was sitting behind the girls from Doyle's Room. I only stayed till the dinner break because the ESPN guys needed their badges back and i couldnt get back in. Next year ill have to find that room so i can watch the broadcast.

They had places set up all over binions where you can watch. I was right outside Benny's pit(I think that's the name) where the final tables were held. The players each came out of the pit and walked right past me when they were eliminated.

No, I actually left the final table at like midnight. I had to leave in the morning and Mike had already been eliminated and they were still 9 handed. So I havn't seen anything from 9handed on down.

there were some i guess interesting hands after that. I only stayed i think till it was at 6 handed or so. One hand that i really wanna see actually came between Aaron Kanter and Andrew Black, the hand seemed like it took forever but i cant wait to see the hole cards to what the were holding.

Yeah, eventhough I was interested to see what happened. I was really tired from all the playing and watching from the last 4-5 days that after Matusow was busted, I had no urge to sit for what I knew was going to take a long time to watch a bunch of strangers. What was ironic was though I woke up at around 7:30 and the results were already on the news and it said they finished playing around 7.
