joe hachem officially signs with pokerstars

Recommended Posts

be prepared for a whole new series of pokerstars commericals, at least they cant say he won his entry on pokerstars.com anymoreaccording to the lobby his screen name there is "The Black" and he has played thousands of hands on pokerstars.according to pokerdb he only has 1 career tourney cash, so I guess he must play a lot of ring games or not be very good. anyone ever played with him on there or have any idea what limits he played before the wsop?

i was reading that he played at the melbourne casino regularly (where the aussie millions is held) and cashed in a lot of smaller ($1k, 500$ etc) tourneys there with a few final tables and other deep finishes. Hes made a living off poker for about 10 years i believe since he got a disease that didnt allow him to be a chiropractor anymore.-patrickedit: " He said, "I started in casinos, but in the past two years, I've been playing online a lot." When he isn't playing online or at the Crown Casino, he runs a small broking business in Pascoe Vale."

Getting hit by a bus is not a disease.

He's not great, but he's your standard TAG. He played solidly at the final table, and got lucky here and there. Which is something that obviously needs to happen in a tourney like that. I'm not going to judge how good he is yet. Do you remember when everyone said that Raymer sucked?

i do remember when they said raymer sucked; but he actually had a lot of previous poker experience in live games. hes proven himself since, obviously as well. moneymaker/varkonyi were both flukes. they sucked in and out the entire tourney to win. i believe that raymer had fnished 3rd in a big foxwoods event in 2001, and cashed in previous WSOP's as well.i know too much.. maybe i should study this finance university shit im doing?

Yeah in a few weeks we'll be calling Hachem lucky too. Just have to let it air on ESPN first...

i dont know why people put moneymaker and varkoni in the same boat?...ya, moneymakers not the greatest player in the world, but he has some game, varkoni, on the other hand, has no game and is terrible...moneymaker finished 2nd ina a wpt event, raymer hasnt mad 1 final table in a wpt event

Please tell me that you're not taking the stance that Moneymaker is better than Raymer.

Moneymaker plays much closer to the level of Varkoni than he does to Raymer. Raymer is a FAR better player than both of those donks.

a new tactic you should try out is not commenting on a subject about which you are completely ignorant. doing so would make you appear less stupid.

raymer has consistently made it deeper then moneymaker in wpt events since he started playing in them, try again

Go read some of Raymer's old 2+2 posts.Nm, they're worthless. He hasn't made a wpt final table. His 2005 WSOP results are meaningless as well.

I was at hachem's table for a little bit on day 2. he didnt really do anything spectacular or stupid while i was at the table. there was one time when he overplayed a small pair a little bit, but he got paid off when he rivered a set.
