scatory2 0
I'm playing at my home game. Cheap $20 buy in. Usually people buy in a couple times. We're playing 8 handed. Blinds are .25 .50 I'm sitting 2 away from the bb and I get delt 10h - 9h. Two loose players limp in font of me. I've been playing tight all night and had $27.50, so I raise it to $1.50 to go. It gets folded around to the button, very tight player calls and the first limper calls. Pot has $5.25 in it.The flop comes 10d 8h 7h. Tons of outs. The limper, who I have a tell on, bets $3. I read him as weak and raise it to $9. The tight player in the blinds calls and the ealy position limper folds.Pot has $26.25I figured she had pocket Jacks or Queens. Any higher and she would've reraised. I figured I was 1-1 with 14 outs to win and I was going to move her all in on 4th regardless of what card hits. i'd be getting a 4-1 pay off if she calls just about the right odds if I miss the turn.4s comes on 4th street. I move the rest of my stack in. She took a while to think about it. Just when it looked like she was goona muck it she called As 10c. Okay I'm in bad shape. 26% to win. I need either a heart or a 9. River brings an Ace. Egh well. Any advice as to how i could've played it?
Gram Green 0
It's always strange when people post their main read ("I figured she had pocket Jacks or Queens.") and then do something which would be really dumb if that was really their read. You probably can't ever move this player off of jacks or queens on the turn, so why push if you're behind?I would be inclined to play this hand a little slower because you raised preflop, so your opponents won't be expecting you to make a straight. But if you want to play it quickly, get even more of your money in on the flop (when you are most likely to be ahead). The most important thing to get out of this hand is knowing that the SB plays hands against you extremely slowly. He had TPTK and never bet into you or raised you. And after your aggressive play paid him off, he will continue to play this slowly.
SabaAba 0
Push on the flop, no reason to push when your odds decrease. She would also most likely fold as the bet would be huge. YOu tempted her to call by just raising small on flop. Once she calls that, you don't have enough $$ to push her off her hand.TP with OESF draw is a favorite against any hand she had, even JJ and QQ, so push right here.

Guest XXEddie
I dont get it?I figured she has a overpair so i moved allin
CardWarfare 4
I don't know anything about your style of play but I feel the previous suggestions are both good plays. In most situations, I feel as if most would err on the side of aggression with this hand, due to the monster draw you had to go with your top pair. however, I must agree with the previous posts in saying.. if you put her on an overpair, why move in? even a tight player would be apt to call your bet with an overpair, so why not play the hand slowly and try to make your hand cheaper? dereeekho 0
if this is a freezeout, then you should've check-raised all-in after the flop.if this is a cash game, then you have to be a little more defensive and check-call the turn.edit: if you put him on QQ or JJ, then you would have at least 17 outs, as you could make two pair with a 9. You'd be silly not to push as you'd be at even money at least (and way higher if she has black queens).
