digitalmonkey 929
Please point out where I said one was better than the other; idiot! Based on what I have seen though, I prefer the Simpsons! In summary, Buzbrad has good tastes.I said "I prefer" ....not that one is better than the other. You are obviously an idiot! mbreon 0
It really makes no difference if you think Family Guy is better than the Simpsons or not....the main thing to remember is that they are better than 99% of anything else that has ever been on TV.Lest we not forget as well that Family Guy would not have ever made it to the air in the first place without The Simpsons.... Oh wait I am getting your posts confused with mbreon's, you know the one who posted just above this and can form a sentance without insulting someone at the end of it. I never understood why people felt the need to compare Family Guy with the Simpsons. At it's prime, the Simpsons was by far the funniest show on television. At it's prime, Family Guy was the funniest thing on television. They are putting seasons of both of these shows on TV and they are wildly successful.....now I just have to wait for shows like Duck Tales to get to DVD and I will be content. the red bull 0
Why isn't anyone giving South Park any lovin'?IMO, it's currently the best show on television.
Petoria 0
Why isn't anyone giving South Park any lovin'?IMO, it's currently the best show on television.I avoided South Park for many years, bc I thought it was just shock TV. More recently I've realized that it's more of a clever political satire than the former.South Park is great, but I dont think it can compare to Family Guy.
the red bull 0
In honor of South Park, I've decided to change my avatar to Towelie. For all of you that don't know who Towelie is, it's America's favorite Towel that lives in South Park that loves getting high.
buzbrad11 0
I never saw the appeal of South Park. I just figured people liked it because their partents didn't want them to watch it. I watched an epidoe and was not impressed. I never watched it again. I do not feel as though I am missing out. Family Guy is where it's at.

The first episode of the new season was classic.

You clearly spent as much time writing that as the writers for modern simpsons episodes spend per ep.

BilliardsBoy 0
Big fans of both, Family Guy is better. The jokes are far more consistantly funny on FG compared to Simpsons. While both have funny premises and plots, what really sets FG apart is the "random factor." Chicken fight, probably the greatest 3 minutes of television history, stems purely from the comment Peter makes about not taking coupons. This defining characteristic of FG, going off on tangents based on random thoughts or lines from the characters, is great.Add that to the amazing ability of FG to make fantastic references to pop culture (I still couldn't believe when the referenced the actress who played Louis Lane, LoL) that truely makes FG a great show.
