I follow them a lot closer than any other team so now I'm that much more invested in the game. Plus it's the first game back off a road trip, and they're on five days rest so they could be rusty. I'm just hoping they want to show the home fans that they can indeed beat the friggin Mighty Shmucks. Hopefully, Babcock has them fired up.EDIT: LMAO, for those wondering what got censored in my above post, it was "sonofagun" and "Babcock". I think that might be pushing the definition of obscenity. mrdannyg 274 Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 detroit over anaheim had to be the easiest pick yet. one of the best teams, with a ton of rest, at home against a terrible team with an injured goaltender.can't imagine why anyone would take detroit over columbus - i mean the jackets suck, but they're close to anaheim and its detroits second night in a row. its the jackets' second game in a row too i guess, but i think that increases variance more than expected value :wink: Go Wings!
