online poker sites shuffling system....

Recommended Posts

im fairly new to poker..been playing for about a month and a half...and play on paradise and now recently the gaming club. i play mainly micro limit games. I have noticed that when playing on paradise there are a lot more bad beats and monster hands winning pots...i dont think i ever seen someone win with a high card at paradise, always straights ..flushes ..trips etc.. but at the gaming club i frequently see high card ace...second pair..low pair..taking down pots..i believe the reason for this are the different shuffling sytems that every site uses.. heres a link about paradises shuffling system.http://www.paradisepoker.com/shuffling.htmldoes anyone know more on shuffling systems..and should this effect the decisions on which site to play on..or the way you would play a hand..and this is not a post saying thats online sites are rigged..im able to win on both sites..its just that because of the difference in the 2 site that i have noticed... effects the decisions i make during a sessionany opinions on this..thanks..

I've played on a few sites, but the bulk has been party and skins. So I guess I don't have as INFORMED an opinion as I could have through observation. My feelings is it's as random as you can get, and articles I've read has backed this up. In fact did you read the entire article you posted the link for? I would feel very safe after reading that. Hah. Although of course one should read articles also by people other than the site you're playing at.In my experience how many people are in the pot (and how far they play) is the biggest reason as to whether big hands are made or not. Does eveybody stay in on backdoor draws or gutshot draws? Is it more tight/aggressive? I win a reasonable amount in the limits I play in with A high. Like AK will miss the flop after raising preflop, he'll bet, somebody with a flush draw will raise, everybody else will fold. And the flush misses and big slick takes down the pot (you'll might see this because slick will have had position and checked river to see if his ace high wins, so you get to see the flush draws cards). But if, on the other hand, you have everybody staying in with any and every draw you see a hell of a lot more flushes/straights or rivered trips with the low card on the flop.Just my .02 cents.
