It's tough to win without goalies since you get 4 goals against automatically, but I think I can still pull this one out. He has Boston goalies at Tampa and they could light it up for even more than 4 goals.

no goalies will hurt, but your forwards consistently look better than all your opponents. Maybe its just who youve played so far, timing of the schedule, but your 4th guy is usually better than the other teams best fwd!personally, i would not have played Antropov over any of your fwds, excet maybe Fedo. I still like Malone to get a big game in soon. I still say you win this one too, even without NJ gtd.

This is the deepest group of forwards I've ever had, and adding Torres and Perry to the list gives me 16 strong forwards. I also have Chimera in Columbus now which will help him a ton, and Belanger in LA who chips in from time to time. Trading Bonk for Fedetenko give me more depth too since I already had Kovalev in Montreal. The real problem with my team is the defence. My best d-man, Adrian Aucoin, is hurt and the rest of the group aren't much to write home about. Strangely it's the best forward group I've ever had and the weakest defense I've ever had. In past years I had a solid core of four: Redden, Sydor, Aucoin, Ozolinch. I also have Seabrook in Chicago who might be a keeper. If he continues to play at a high level I might look to trade Aucoin for a defenceman on another team and call up Seabrook.

Im surprised you havent been able to move one of your fwds for a D. Personally, Id look to hold onto a guy like Aucoin, i think he will get a TON of icetime on the PP in Chicago. Seabrookhas upside, but that crzy game was because BOTH Aucoin and Spacek were out. Surprised also you called up Perry. Was there any advantage to keeping him in your minors? (in my pool, the longer you hold a guy in your minor team, the longer you can go without starting up his main contact). I think him and Torres are both great picks, they just may still be a little ways away from being top players. that said, wow, great colection of forwards, and with NJgtd, looks like a couple of moves to shore up your D, and your looking good.(though Id be wary of the Mustangs!!!)

I usually wait a while before calling up guys from the farm, but felt like Torres was ready for sure. Perry was a closer one, but if I can get him into 10 games this year I might be able to sign him for five years at a cheaper contract.
