Breaking Liberty 0
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is UTG+1 with [Kc], [Kd]. 1 fold, Hero calls, CO calls.Flop: (13 SB) [7s], [3h], [Jc] (3 players)SB bets, Hero calls, CO calls.Turn: (11 BB) [7d] (3 players)SB bets, Hero calls, CO calls.River: (14 BB) [6h] (3 players)SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets, SB calls, Hero calls.Final Pot: 17 BBOkay, I probably should have bet when the SB checked it to me here. But I had the stupid check/call (because I was completely expecting him to bet here) button on so it was checked to the button who bet.And at that point, I'm like: Wtf is going on? So I just called because an out of line bet means one of two things: A player is really strong or really weak, and I couldn't tell which he was at this point.Should I have been playing this river more aggressively? Breaking Liberty 0
Oh and I'm not worried about the over call at this point. I know the SB has crap that he can't let go of at this point.
Actuary 3
I'd advise capping the flop for value with CO in the mix.As it was played, I bet/call one back to me on river. If i accidentally checked, I would call, as you did.

Breaking Liberty 0
After they turned over 88 and QQ I learned probably won an extra bet by checking here and allowing the button to bluff with his 88. He prolly would have folded if I had bet.Although I know that is not the best move long term, lol.
CobaltBlue 662
Cap the flop. Bet/call the turn.

Jubba 0
Why are we not 3-betting/capping the action on the turn? Are we really that afraid of AA and JJ? People play A-J this aggressively when they flop top pair (or even 10-10 and 9-9 in some crazy cases) so why not make them pay for the majority of the time when they are going to have some ridiculous holding like J-10 or Q-J?No straight draws, no flush draws, you flop an over pair and you're slowing down when there are only 2 hands that really worry you? The turn is your most profitable street over time and you're bet/calling? Why not bet/raise?
Jubba 0
Should I have been playing this river more aggressively?Yes. But its not the river that scares me its your play on the turn. Why did you slow down? Calling here? I'm willing to pay off AA and JJ because they are the only 2 hands in the deck that I am afraid of.
Mattnxtc 0
a flop like that has to be capped. If you had capped that likely the sb woulda checked to you on the turn and you would have had complete control of the hand and wouldnt have had a tough decision on the turn and river
