live hand. did i mess it up?

Interesting hand from 3/6 at a casino. I'm in the sb, BB has been very aggressive with a huge selection of hands, and cutoff is a calling station.I get dealt 1010 in sb, 3 limpers, including CO. I raise, BB 3-bets, 2 limpers fold, CO calls. (5 bb)Flop: 8 9 2 rainbow. me: betbb: raiseco: calls two betsme: reraisebb: callco: call(9.5 bb)turn: 6, no flush drawsme: betbb: raiseco: callme: call(15.5 bb)river 10me: checkbb: betco: callme: raisebb: callco: call(21.5 bb)Flop reraise correct? Should I have ditched my hand to the turn raise? Was I missing out on a value 3-bet by not betting the river? Outcome later tonight.

I think that you played it fine...I might have capped it preflop...based on his pay on the flop I would either put him on JJ or AK-AJ suited...I think he was trying to get you off the hand on the turn with the raise...I like the check raise on the river too...good play, I think you get all you could have out of it except for maybe 1 SB preflop...but that might have changed all of the other bets post flop...who knows...good job though

Thx, but unfortunately I didn't win the hand. Bb had 99 for top set on flop, and cutoff had A7 (!!!) for the straight. That was mostly the reason this hand stuck in my mind. A guy calls two bets with A high and no draw also does not raise the second nuts on the river. I couldn't understand that guy's thought process for the life of me.

I wouldn't have raised pre-flop, your out of position with 3 limpers already in the pot and there's not many flops that you'll like with Tens besides flopping a set.I also don't see the value in check-raising the river, look at the board, who is going to bet their hand unless they have a straight or something very strong like a set, maybe 2 pair. If you get 3-bet, your almost certainly beat and it's just chip spewing. I think the river is either check/call or bet/call and with the CO still in the hand calling all the way, I probably lean towards check/calling depending on reads. As for the rest of the hand, I'd probably play my Tens a lil more snug and wouldn't be that aggressive with it. Typically when the BB raises when you bet into them, they've got an overpair and your beat. It's very unlikely they have AK as they likely do not get this aggressive without a pair and 5 players in the pot on an all unders flop.
